A very Good Morning to the Jury members and the audience present here. In the next one
hour, you all would be acquainted with business ideas and ventures, which attains success
through innovation and creativity. I think PowerPoint presentation would help you to achieve
a deeper understanding about the issue.
In this context, the business venture, which I have considered, is that of event planning,
which is the main theme of the introductory slide. Event planning and management is an
interesting discipline in the current competitive market. For venturing into this field, the
entrepreneurs need good communication skills, decision-making skills and creative thinking
abilities. Planning is one of the essential aspects, which helps in organizing the events in a
systematic manner. The slide also sheds light on the importance of registration through
documentation of the papers for selecting the venue to stage an event.
Moving on,... in the following slide, I would talk about the impact of event planning on the
growth and development of a business. Event planning broadens the avenues, which the
entrepreneurs can select for enhancing their professional skills, abilities and competencies.
As a matter of specification, planning an event inculcates effective design thinking skills
within the entrepreneurs. Penetrating into this approach acquaints the entrepreneurs with the
reality, which prevails in the current market scenario. This reality, further, enhances the
awareness about the potential risks, which would arise in the process of planning and
managing an event. The business venture is a low cost business initiative, where rational
thought is advantageous for gaining an insight into the actual expense behind establishing the
business.
The theme of the next slide is the tools, which helps in creating the ideas for planning and
managing the events. Here, my main focus would be on the software, which is essential for
me to formulate the ideas of the events. Using Creatlr would broaden my knowledge horizons
regarding the social acceptance of the events. I feel personality is vital for presenting the
plans to the audience. Here, I would like to mention about MakeMyPersona, which would act
assistance in upgrading my current skills, competencies and capabilities.
I would also like to draw your attention to IdeaFlip, which I think is a best option for me to
experiment with the ideas of the events and the alternatives. Conducting design prototype
through Mockingbird software would be effective for me to test my thinking skills and
judgmental capabilities towards planning and managing an event. Apart from this, I also feel
that User testing software would help me to evaluate the effectiveness of the chalked out
plans for conducting an event.
Through the fifth slide, I would like to describe the steps, which I have planned to follow for
the development of the business idea. Here, I would refer specifically to the event of
weddings. At the initial stage, I would have a meeting with the localites, briefing them about
the wedding events, the venue, date, time and the other particular details. After the meeting, I
would prepare the agenda, which would assist me to work in a systematic manner. Within
this, social media marketing would be done for advertising and promoting our services. You
would also be provided with leaflets and brochures, stating the services, which we would

offer for achieving customer satisfaction. Let me tell you, that it is your feedback, which we
need for achieving noticeable growth and development.
In the next slide, I have planned to discuss the ways in which we would analyse the responses
gathered from you. Statistical data would be used for detecting the majority percentage for a
particular aspect. We would organize meetings with the managers, board of directors and the
local people for making them aware of the latest plans. After the event, feedbacks would be
taken from you for assessing the extent to which we have been successful in catering to your
specific needs, demands and requirements.
It gives me immense pleasure to share with you the minimum viable product, which is the
main concept of the next slide. In this context, the product is the wedding events, which I
think, can be organized successfully through constructive plans. Involving the stakeholders
and shareholders in the meeting is assistance for allocating the roles and responsibilities.
Here, I would like to point out about the decision making tree, which we have planned to
consider for eliminating the unnecessary data and reaching to the relevant data. Supervision
of the performance would be effective in terms of estimating the need for additional resources
and requirements.
Last but not the least is the marketing plan/canvas, which I have prepared for highlighting the
key aspects of the business venture of wedding planning and management. My primary
activity would to be gain information on the successful business case of the wedding
planners. This source would be essential in terms of gaining an insight into the strategies of
the corporate event planners and birthday party planners. I think setting realistic and
achievable goals like staging 30 events in a year would be a good way to start off with the
business venture. According to me, budget would be effective for assessing our current
financial condition. To be specific, my strategy would be to increase the trafficking oif the
audience through social media and mobile apps.
