The report should critically evaluate the key factors that have globally influenced and
shaped the development, structure and organisation of the events industry and the role of
different events in society. Ado not forget to examine first the diversity of the global events
industry including its structure and organisation, including three examples from chosen
event categories.
Additionally, you need to critically assess the value, impacts and legacy of a range of
global events on different levels of the environment and critically evaluate the specific
management strategies used to support responsible event development for a range of
global events.
Then, you need to provide recommended improvements and solutions for a specific event
to minimise adverse impacts and maximise profit
To do so you will have to first evaluate the macro environmental factors influencing the
global events industry and analyse their influence on decisionmaking and organisational
behaviour while applying specific examples.
