INTRODUCTION
The project with name Every Mind Matters is been created by Public Health England, aims
at providing advice and tips for improving respective living standards of various individuals. The
project comes under working that includes providing information about mental health conditions
of various individuals as well as developing ability of a person to improve its living standard by
managing and maintaining mental health conditions. It is certified with NHS, which aims at
helping people with controlling anxiety and makes life more enjoyable by providing healthy
guidelines to them (Every Mind Matters campaign link, 2020).
With light to the fact that, in current outpaced world, various individuals’ priorities
unproductive activities in their lives by compromising sleep. This campaign focuses on
developing abilities and skills among various individuals to live a quality life by improving their
mental health conditions. In the approach basically prioritizing sleep, anxiety control, low mood
and stress busting is being focused. With addition to that, this meta-analysis will offer various
literacy programs which will aim at providing improved mental health in region of England.
MAIN BODY
Concept of health and well-being
Health and wellbeing are two concepts which proves to be an effective tool within field of
occupation safety and health. It is to be considered that if an individual is in best of its mental
health condition, they will give better output and will dedicate more efficiently on assigned tasks
to them. The concept of health and well-being is being defined as in state of complete mental,
physical and social wellbeing. It is an exclusion of any merely absence of infirmity or disease.
With addition to that, concept of well-being refers to conceptualizing public health with mental
health. It is being said that, if an individual develops good health and well-being, it contributes
towards better productivity in various task performed by that individual (Naidoo & Wills, 2016).
This concept is being widely accepted that subjective wellbeing varies greatly between
individuals. In context to the subject matter, NHS England has been working towards parity of
esteem between physical and mental health. An individual with mental health problems and
social anxiety faces great deal of problems in performing respective assigned task to them. By
looking such raising problems NHS England, decided to introduce a campaign wherein basics
about improving mental health and social wellbeing is being analysed. The aim of the campaign

is to provide better life to various individuals by offering them classic information about how to
counter with stress, anxiety various fears and many more.
As mentioned by …, there are a range of outside factors and elements, which majorly
influence on the effectiveness of the different campaigns. In context with Every Mind Matters, it
can be said that some of the social determinants like health care system (quality of care, provider
availability, and cultural competency & linguistic thoughts as well. Also, education social
determinants where language, vocational training and higher education are the ones that has also
affected the campaign in a different way as well. Away with this, it has been observed that
socioeconomic status is also another crucial reason behind considering Every Mind Matters.
Basically, it is crucial to understand these social determinants as they may impact positively as
well on the overall campaign. This could be understood with a good example of quality of care
which is a part of health care system (social determinant), where United kingdom’s people gets
information through internet and with the help of different communication channels as well.
This helps in spreading knowledge among individuals in much effective and in efficient
manner. another example that can be taken into consideration is of education, which is a social
determinant as well. Basically, education is the important part in an individual’s lifespan where
delivering information to individuals whose lifestyle is busy in nature, it can be said that they
may effectively take into consideration of various approaches in relation with relaxing their
mind-set. This would help them in improving the existing life related standards and it may also
lead them to improve their own proficiency level while working in an organisation or performing
something else.
It can also be said all the individuals will directly get affected by this campaign because it has
been observed that most of them stays in trauma due to different sorts of pressure. Basically, this
particular trauma is something which is being dealt by most of the individuals and due to this
campaign it is may be possible that most of the individuals might start getting aware of various
issues linked with mental health and about the interventions as well (New Economics Forum
2012).

Health can be termed to be state of complete physical, mental as well as social wellbeing
and which may not merely the absence of any kind of disease or that can be infirmity. The health

Nowadays health is very relevant today number of diseases are increasing every day,
peoples must make healthier choices and reduce the risk of chronic diseases e.g. for diabetes,
asthma, respiratory issues, heart diseases. As discussed above that health promotion aim is to
empowers individuals and communities to choose healthy behaviour and reduce risk of
developing long-term diseases, this process encouraging peoples to improve their health.
Health promotion support an active life-style, healthy food choices and helping peoples to
achieve their fullest health potential. The outcome is that to prevent diseases and promote health
is both valuable and effective. The health that can be considered to be healthy when a body tend
to be disease free as well as it should be healthy by their mind as well. As the campaign follow
up or lead the string that may influence the idea of which demonstrate that each mind matters, in
which it has been refereed to people who suffered with various mental and physical activities as

Well Being
Wellbeing is termed to be positive outcome that is describes as meaningful for number of
people as well as many sectors of society and mostly in all generation. The reason being
maintain their life style and lives very nicely as it can be improved by healthy diets, regularly
monitoring of common disease which can arise due to usual daily food such as high or low blood
pressure, diabetes etc. that can further can contribute to promote associated risk factors (Public
Health England, 2017).

Positive and negative aspects of health
As the definition of health which was determined by the WHO in 1948, is not adequate.
As per definition no one is healthy. There can be number of positive aspects of health that can be
termed as a state of whole complete physical, metal as well as social wellbeing. As it may
include six dimensions as well which are bodily functions, mental functions, perception, spiritual
dimensions, quality of life, social and in addition societal participation and last daily functioning.
As per the studies, it is ability to adapt and self-management (Yuill, Crinson, & Duncan, 2010).
Negative impacts can be determined as health and wellbeing is a stage where a person or an
individual start believes that he or she have a good state of health conditions and well-being as
because there are no signs and symptoms such as physical illness, injury, mental health issues
etc.
Medical/biomedical model
A biomedical model is an alternative for a person, or a human biologic framework, that can
be utilized to get typical and irregular capacity from quality to aggregate and to give a premise to
preventive or helpful mediation in human sicknesses. In context with Every Mind Matters, it can
be said that this model may effectively may lead the whole campaign to focus among different
aspects in much effective and in efficient manner (Harvey, 2017).
