1EVIDENCE OF REINCARNATION
Introduction
The theme of reincarnation is a very complicated one and it has been studied all over the
world over the decades. It is considered to be a religious or philosophical concept that deals with
the understanding that the human beings start to live the new lives with a different body
altogether (Stevenson 2012). This signifies that the spirit within the human beings never die at
all. It has been a matter of debate whether this term of reincarnation could be proved with the
proper evidence.
Evidence of the reincarnation
Some people, cultures and religions do not believe that the past lives are not real or
evident. There are certain experiences that could prove that the incident of reincarnation has
really taken place in this world (Stevenson 2012). In order to prove that, it is only important to
put up some events that would be helpful to establish this event in the best ways. It is quite
obvious that some or most of the people have lived in the other bodies and had completely
another existence. This is because the souls of those human beings did not fall apart from them.
Rather, their souls would move from one to other bodies (Prasad et al. 2014).
It has been seen in some cases that some of the people have often experienced some
anomalous memories (Burley 2013). These memories are generally the things that could convey
that the root of these memories is from their previous lives. According to the critics, it might
occur that some person is a business professional but he has a tremendous passion for singing.
However, it might be found by further investigation that he had been a famous singer in his
previous life and has not been able to forget that till then (Prasad et al. 2014). The stories of the
reincarnation have been very common all over the planet and across several cultures.

2EVIDENCE OF REINCARNATION
As the evidence is concerned Ian Stevenson had been the pioneer in studying and
researching on this matter for a long time indeed (TenDam 2012). He had written his book
named The Evidence for Survival from Claimed Memories of Former Incarnationss. After the
thorough research on this matter Stevenson had described the life of a Sri Lankan girl who had
died in her previous life by being drowned in a paddy field. She has described that the paddy
field had been full with flood. According to the girl, a bus was going through the road and it had
splashed her with the water on the road and she got drowned in the water. This brought about her
death (TenDam 2012).
After hearing about the incident, the search parties went to the place and investigated
about the matter. They had found that the statement of the girl was true. It is because they heard
from the local people of the region that a little girl had been drowned as a bus was going through
the narrow road above the paddy fields that were badly flooded (Burley 2016). The girl could not
but step back to the deep water in the field and had died. The effect turned out to be the fact that
the girl got afraid of buses from a very early age. She also got afraid whenever she got near to
the deep water. Another thing had been found in this sequence was the fact that the little girl that
she used to like to bread and sweet foods. This was quite unusual in her family. This might have
been the habit that she had in her previous life that contained completely different components
(Nagaraj et al. 2013).
After hearing these incidents, one might be convinced to believe in this issue. The several
persons would believe in the fact that the people could be reincarnated from the previous life
(Burley 2016). This belief could be made strong by observing the birthmarks on the bodies of the
concerned persons. If the concerned persons had been subjected to the fatal injuries, those marks
of the fatal injuries could appear again on the bodies of the persons in this life as well. This can

effectively be served as the proof that the reincarnation will appear indeed. Ian Stevenson has
stressed much on this fact that the birthmarks on the bodies of the people are very much
convincing to believe that the notion of the reincarnation actually exists (Nagaraj et al. 2013).
Some scientific evidences will be provided in the following section through some images and the
YouTube video links.

Verdict on the reincarnation
The fact of reincarnation has been very closely associated with that of the Christian
religion since the resurrection of Jesus Christ has been very much important from the religious
backgrounds (Burley 2012). The event of death has been considered with great importance over
the years in most of the religions. The ancient people also believed in reincarnation since they
used to bury the dead bodies with their favorite things as they used to believe that those people
will surely come back to life one day. The various religions like Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism
also believe in this matter as well (Ransom 2015). However, some believers of Christianity have
said that the notion of the reincarnation should be rejected since it does not adhere to the Bible. It

is because there would be no need for the judgment day, or the need of the cross or to trust in
Jesus Christ if this fact of reincarnation really existed. However, these things would differ among
the different cases. This is why there are various differences of opinion regarding this matter
(Ransom 2015).
Conclusion
As discussed above, the paper can be concluded by saying that the event of reincarnation
has gone through several stages. The various differences should be analyzed to find out the
relevant issues within the matter. The issues should be discussed within the matters of the
religions and the scientific matters as well. However, the evidence has been provided in the
paper because the logical persons would not believe the issues properly as well. However, it
might be said that reincarnation might happen in this world on some people.
