The role of science is that it has enabled us to see the world from a new perspective. The world
has changed drastically over the years, therefore, making it a better place to stay in. Things like
television which has made us get a better understanding of things we can keep ourselves up to
date. The latest findings we can know what is happening in the world. Science has made humans
more knowledgeable through the course of the years, as we can understand from Sound of
Thunder and Nethegrave people were able to go back in time due to technology.
The main characters are people who face so many challenges like in Nethergrave Jeremy was
always ignored and bullied therefore he found his freedom by going into a virtual world and
never coming back again. On the other hand, Echkels made a bad decision which made him meet
with dinosaurs hence he had to find a way out and on his coming to the present things had
become worse than there the way it used to be. In my opinion, in the future man will have
technological advancement in that one can go back in time and also affect the present time for
example in Nethegrave Jeremy was able to control the things happening in the present. Jeremy
was able to see his mom while in the form of a jaguar.
The main message we found out is that technology is a good thing hence we should appreciate it
than condemning. It has done more good than bad therefore making is a great thing for mankind.
People nowadays can move from one place to another with ease due to the advancement of
technology which has made everything simple. The world has become a better place to live in
compared to ancient times. Messages nowadays reach people very fast not like in the previous
years where messages took a very long time to reach or even sometimes it does not reach all.
