Question 1
(a) CO2 Emission is not a good thing for the environment. Day by day this
problem is increases not only by a single country but by all the countries.
These problems are not happened due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal,
petroleum and natural gas. The graphical representation shows that china is
topmost country in producing C02. While South Africa is producing very less
as compared to the other countries. Graphical representation gives full details
about CO2 producing by all countries.
Figure 1
(b) In this part graphical representation shows, the amount of CO2 emission in percentage
in respectively years i.e. 2009 and 2013 which are broken by producer countries.
Document Page
(c) In this question part (a) and (b) gives the information and data in a graphical
form about CO2 emission which was produced by many countries in year
2009 and 2013. The graphical representation part also shows the difference in
emission in these respectively years. China is in the top position, that is not
good thing for china because this is not good for country growth and
environment. While some other countries continuously working on reducing
this emission.
Question 2
(a) In this part frequency distribution and relative frequency distribution is
calculated for the given data using the formulae: -
(b) In this part cumulative frequency and cumulative relative frequency are
calculated using the excel in-built function.

(c) The given figure describes the histogram of data.
(d) This figure is about ogive for data.

Question 3
(a) The figure gives a description of two variables. And using this figure it is
very easy to understand.
(b) The given figure tells about the relationship between the rate of inflation
and all other indexes. The relationship is founded by using the excel
formula.
Document Page
(c) The given figure gives a brief description of range, median, sd, smallest
and largest value, and three quartiles as well and many more other details.
All these values are calculated using the excel formula.

(d) The coefficient of correlation between the rate of inflation and all
ordinaries index is 0.038875, which is calculated by using the coefficient
module of excel.
(e) Regression Analysis is used to find the relationship between two
variables. This regression is finding by using the module of excel, using
the two variables. And the figure shows the equation as well.
Document Page
(f) The coefficient of determination R2 is 0.0015 which is calculated by the
help of linear regression using the module of excel.
(g) There is a significant positive relationship between the rate of inflation and
the ordinary index. r= 0.86.
Document Page
(h) The value of the Standard error of estimate is 0.260. And this value is
calculated by using the excel formula. The linear regression model is good
and value is also positive.
Conclusion: - All the answers are successfully achieved by using the excel
formulas. And it consists of 3 different questions which are defined in brief.
