The memo is the summary of the articles that identifies the ways of strategic communication
that is practiced by the directors and the managers of the company. The three articles have
been taken into consideration in this memo. The articles usually explore the ways in which
the C-suite executives are using the corporate communications in order to execute strategy.
There has been a drastic change in the way of communication inside the organization. The
shift has been from the ways like speech writing and media placements to a more developed
and implemented strategy. This is done through better forms of communication. This further
includes the sophisticated measurement that is used by big data in order to understand the
constituencies and the influence of the reputation plays a vital role in it. The articles have
conducted a research in which it has been extracted that it is better for the companies to
follow the leadership communication style. It is related to the execution of the strategy.
The communication has changed from the face-to-face form to the technologically
advanced means. It has matured over ages. Initially the organizations used to practice the
customary face-to-face dialogue. A simple communication model provides the different
components like the sender, a particular message; it consists of the channel that is used in
order to send the message. It includes the receiver and the feedback from the receiver to the
sender. By studying the other articles it can be mentioned that the organizational

communication includes few important components like, down flow, upward flow and the
lateral and diagonal flow. The cultural aspect of the hierarchical communication lays a huge
impact on the ability in order to send a message successfully. The reason for this is that the
power and the status have a far-reaching effect on the ability to communicate in an effective
manner. The leaders play a major role in improving the ways of communication inside the
organization. The leaders communicate the ideas clearly and powerfully to their team
members so that they can create vision, shape the culture of the organization and achieve the
goals of the organization. They can do it by creating interactive sessions with the team
members and across the entire team. The leaders must maintain a transparent process of
interaction in all the hierarchical levels. They should develop communication strategies for
team building in order to collaborate for the better problem solving and decision-making
strategy. It further involves the transformation of the destructive conflict into constructive
conflict while building trust in the organization and creating a productive working
environment. The leaders should recognize the cultural differences within the organization
and they should use the best communication practices in order to enhance the understanding
the good will of the organization. The leaders can develop and improve the ways of
communication inside the organization in these ways.
