1EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Long gone is the concept of only men being capable leaders. Not only is this false, it
is extremely derogatory given that women have proved countless times about their
superiority in organization culture with their inherent ability to multitask and help the
growth of the company. Thus it is important that organizations pay significant
importance to providing all their employees a platform of equality in which all
employees can function, work and grow in all sectors and ensure growth and rise in
both their work lives and personal lives. This has to done by addressing the very root
of beliefs and concepts about women being inefficient and invested in matters that are
not correlated to work because they are burdened with various standards that society
demand them to fulfil, these roles imposed upon them limit them to families and
children. In this fast moving world where women are breaking barriers and entering
the corporate arena demands support from the Human Resource department of each
company to ensure that the environment promotes healthy relationships in between the
administration and the employees, irrespective of gender and ensures that everyone is
treated equally and allowed similar opportunities. It is important that if an
organization wants to progress, the atmosphere that needs to be imbibed should also
be progressive. It has to be accepted that the role of the woman as a mother and
caregiver is something that is ingrained within a woman and deserves respect. Despite
these roles, women continue to excel at work and manage her times to ensure that she

does not lag behind in any way. If she is provided support in these cases she will do
even better. Their individual confidence should not be considered as overconfidence
or as something they are not allowed to display because they are presumed to be
incapable in a sector that is male dominated. There has been cases in which higher
authority has patronized women and provided them with lesser salary because they
were under the assumption that women are not capable enough to tackle challenging
tasks head on (Kossek & Buzzanell, 2018). This is gross discrimination and against
HR rules and regulations as any kind of discrimination is frowned upon in the
corporate world. An environment of equality is the basis of stability in one’s own life.
Hence, it is important that the women are allowed that stability which they have so
rightfully earned. This allows them the scope of taking their own decisions willingly,
working towards the objectives and goals that they require to achieve. Both individual
and organizational level efforts are required for women to finally find a stable
foothold in a job. With feminism at a revolutionary peak and with women shining as
leaders one must look up which even reports prove, a change will inevitably reflect in
the society and sector that will be far more accepting and open to women taking the
reins and leading us into a better future of tolerance and equality. Thus this report will
be exploring and researching about this very legitimate issue to understand the gravity
of this situation and the need to bring reforms.
