The children have been showing improvement in their communication and they also are
more socializing with other learners as well as will the staffs. Previously some of the children
were not willing to mix with the educators. Children further understands the instructions and
different play methods that they are engaged in for their learning and development. Children
have developed their cognitive skills by identifying objects, colours and the procedure of play
and learn.
Do I need to find out anything else about the learner before I start planning? How will I get
this information?
I must identify educational needs of a child so that I have adequate understanding about
his/her learning disability. This information I can obtain from the parents or medical records n
reports if available. If no information is available, I need to identify learning abilities and
disabilities through observation and communication with other staffs in the education and
development institute.
