Introduction
The purpose of this assignment is to emphasize on the learnings gathered in the week
three lecture and express the aspects and objectives related to the project management. The
report is presenting as the demonstration of the learnings gathered by Mr. Lucas Merlo, utilize
his learning for enhancing the personal behavior, and reflect on the facts presented by him during
the lecture. This report explains the background of Mr. Lucas Merlo emphasizing on his roles
and responsibilities within the organization. This report covers the project management
approaches towards the successful delivery of the project constraints through executing
necessary actions. This report explains the project constraints in the context of the triple
constraints and how this could be managed during the overall execution of the project.
Background
Mr. Lucas Merlo is the Supply Chain Planner for the Rip Curl Hong Kong Office, has
been appointed to the supply chain department, and has to report the project manager. His
primary role is to support the General Manager Supply Chain including all the aspects of the
supply chain within the organization. His role includes the management of the process
development and contributes in the daily operational issues associated with the supply chain
management. His responsibility includes the management of the Rip Curl Supply Chain
Obligations in association with the key accounts. There were various responsibilities including
the managing the accuracy of the order file, assisting the warehouse management, preparing in
conjunction with the Supply Chain Department managers, Providing IT assistance, and assisting
the warehouse manager.
