INTRODUCTION
This report objective is to analyse the career of an person. Selecting a profession according to the
skills and interest. In this project the job role has been taken as a human resource manager
(Nalbantoglu Yilmaz and Cetin Gunduz ,2018). He is the one who is recruiting, selecting people
according to the knowledgable of the person and human resource manager is also responsible
for the the employees retention by providing them training programs according to the change in
the products. I would choose this profession because my skills matches with the required
position. I want to do this role as this is a very responsible and on desk job (Guo, Wang and
Wang 2021). I will make my career in HR manager field. This is a very interesting position in
any organisation. The following report will cover tasks , trends which will impacts HR
profession, then it contains skills and experience requirement for this role and later it will
conclude the report.
TASK
Trends which impacts human resource management
Change is necessary in every field. with frequently change in the organisation it will help
management to adopt new technologies. There is various roles and responsibilities for the human
resource manager so he have to more attentive towards organisation. He is responsible for the
fulfil vacant position in the company by recruiting and selecting the right candidate according to
the skills required for the position. Human resource manager have to keep records of all the
employees and provide them self visit portal. So they have to be updated themselves by new
trends. Out of trends some of them are discussed below.
Work online:- Now the present scenario is changing every one now understand the power of
digital. Employees works very hard even they also forgot their personal life as well in order to
stay in office and give their 100%. employees now wants to work online means work from home
so that they can focus on both personal and professional life (Stewart and Brown, 2019). Human
resource management should focus on virtual work as the technologies are changing so
management also have to change.
Self portals:- This is a self access portals company should provide to their employees .
Human resource mangers have to keeps records of employees in which all the

information, past records, education everything is records. Now the technologies are
changing management should give them self portals where employees can see their
information change their updated information can see their upcoming duties, commission,
leaves everything (Chams and García-Blandón , 2019). This is a very important change the
management should adopt it will saves time of both employees and company. They can
log in and log out the portals whenever they want to.
Feedback:- There is really need to change the feedback process. Every company follows only
downward feedback where the supervisor or seniors gives feedback about the employees to the
management by this employees will not get chance to give feedback about their seniors. If the
management of the company can able to adopt upward feedback also human resource can get
direct feedback from each and every employees about their allotted seniors (Ren, Tang and E
Jackson , 2018). By this employees will feel motivated and eventually helps organisation by
contributing more to the organisation. Human resource management are one who listen and
understand the needs of their employees they have direct touch with employees. They should
keep motivating the employees for achieving targets of company.
Technology in hiring candidates:- Human resource manager can recruit people by using
various methods online. Now the world is shifting towards online platforms. It becomes very
easy for the HR to hire candidates of best fit the position (Nabeeh et. Al, 2019). HR can make a
online site of their company's name and give their ads on social media so the people can get to
know about vacant position and starts applying , HR can select from those and quickly hire them.
Employees training:- There are two methods of training online and offline training. If the
HR can arrange the online training for their employees it will take less time and also they can
learn from home also there is no need to come office in training period. It will helps
organisation in increasing efficiency.
Mental awareness:- The latest trend in the human resource is the increase in mental health.
Employees works hours and hours and also do overtime due to this they suffer from mental
health . Company should conduct an session every weak for increases awareness about menatl
pressure on employees.

AI:- It helps in record employees on boarding, remuneration, salary, leaves , information
everything. For human resource manager this trend is very favourable for them to keep
employees current and previous information.
Knowledge, experience and skills required for the job role:
There are various roles and responsibilities of HR manger. They have to keep communicate with
the employees. HR main role is to recruit and selecting right candidates for the available job role.
They are required skills and experience for their role. Some of the skills are taken below
Communication skill:- Most desirable skills which is required for the human resource
manger is communication skill. Communication is very important for every level of organisation.
It facilitates the link between human resource and employees within a company's culture
(Hamilton and Davison , 2018). This is very important skill that how you are deliver an
information with board of directors, how you are influencing them. Communication is the first
step in building relation with the employees. If HR is able to communicate well with the
employees it will help them to retain them. They are the one who handles employees by listening
their complaints, feedback etc. you HR is good at communication then he will definitely helps
organisation.
Active listening skill:- This is critical skill, human resource managers should have this skill
for maintaining peace in the organisation. With the help of this skill they listen to others and find
solutions for them. When HR professionals listen more and talk less than it will help them to take
decisions faster . It will increase efficiency in the organisation (Oehlhorn et. Al, 2020)
Technical skill:- It is a critical skill which helps the HR mangers in handling of day to day
work. Human resource manager have to keep records of every employees in software this
requires technical skills (Thoman and Lloyd, 2018).
Team handling skill:- Human resource managers have to work with all the managers,
employees, colleagues in the organisation where this skill plays an significant role in doing
teamwork (Do, Budhwar and Patel, 2018). Working together with all other designation the the
company is a very tough task the professional who is good in handle these situation can have the
ability to survive in any environment.

Decision making skill:- For taking day to day decision which helps organisation in smooth
functioning of work it requires decision making quality. There is lot of decisions which a HR
manger should taken.
Organisational skill:- Human resource managers are act as a mediator between employees
and organisation. They are responsible for managing day to day life in organisation through time
management, and data management. They facilitates smooth working environment in the
company.
Training and development skill:- This skill helps in providing training to its employees
when there is any change in product. Training and development programs open new gate of
opportunities in future. This is a very essential skill.
CONCLUSION
This report shows the impacts of trend of human resource profession and also states the skills,
experience and knowledge required for this job role. I will choose my career in this field only
because I have done my post graduation in human resource and scored good marks. I am good at
communication and I have a good listening skill as well, so I am suitable for this profession.
Main roles of the HR professionals are recruiting, selecting candidates and provide training to
the existing employees. It plays an important role in managing the day to day work in
organisation. This career option is quiet good I like desk work and HR position is a desk job.
There are some recent changes by which this position can able to enhance their skills. I will
suggest this career option to my other fellow classmates and friends because everyone can make
their career in this field easily. If I choose this profession then I will able to enhance my skills
whether it is communication, technical or management purpose for the future prospective. For
this report I have conducted secondary report to dive deep into the knowledge for this topic.
With the help of this many students can take help for their career options.
