employee relations from both employee and employer perspectives.
A competent workforce is the lifeblood of any company and employee relations as the
term formally describes refers to the relationship in an organization between the employees and
the employers and the professional dynamic shared by them in a professional setting. In the
modern day business environment where there are plethora of factors affecting the organization
and the overall business scenario is quote volatile, the need and importance of healthy employee
relations in a company is sky high as the need for collaborations and team work is necessary for
an organization to manage it's productivity and competitive edge. The hallmark of great
leadership and organizational vision is to keep the employees highly motivated, focused and
satisfied with their roles and responsibilities in the business (Asif, and Nisar, 2022). A business
organization must strive to maintain balance and harmony between the work done by the
employees and the supervision and authority placed over them by superiors in the company
hierarchy as employees work best when they are placed in a positive work environment. This
report aims to highlight the importance of employee relations in business and the various
strategies and tools an organization uses to manage the employee relations from both employee
and employer point of view.
An organization uses various strategies to perform employee relationship management
(ERM) from dual point of views for maximum effectiveness which are listed herein. Employee's point of view-The employees in an organization form it's operational
skeleton and each and every business activity that takes place in a company is done by
the virtue of it's employees(Boadi and et.al., 2022). As such the management in the
company come up with various employee centric approaches and strategies to promote
workplace harmony and teamwork among employee and management such as: it is been
noted that their are been required to attain the positive approach and manage the general
compliance with effective working and also all the nature and the working aspects are
carried out in general manner. The employees will have to manage the positive nature
and there is been seen that all the openwork and their records are framed through their
organisational working and compliance. This contemplates that all the framework wroth

which the nature of the scheduling is reinforced and the management is aligned which
will be managed when the employees work with true knowledge and aspects.
1. Reduced and shared Workload-No employee likes to slog thorough the task for the
whole day with no respite in sight and heavy workload dampens employee enthusiasm
and motivation to work considerably and strains relations with their superiors who
allocate them the work. Work in an organization is shared and distributed \in the
organizational hierarchy equally and according to the job descriptions to promote
harmony. It is important that all the work in the companies are required to be distributed
and managed and their is been assured that all the workload can be complicatedly being
declined with the general nature an working an their is been given that all the
organisation can effectively manage the framework as by creating the positive
environment and also by not making the work load to be immensely hectic.
2. Open communication lines-To build effective relations with employees, there should be
clear communication channels built from junior to superior workers in an organization.
No employee should be feeling left out, inputs should be universal and each personnel
should be open for feedback via meetings and surveys. Better communication and
transparency are required to be given and there is been served that all the employees are
required to manage free discussion with their employees with which they can generate
the positive culture and attitudes with all the nature and the framework,. Their is been
required to manage the communication to all the aligned and the transparency to be
acquired to manage the better management and the legal nature and powering.
3. Unbiased system of recognition-The biggest workplace motivation exists inn the form of
recognition and performance appraisal. Employees should feel valued and appreciated ij
the grand scheme of things and they strive to keep working and impress their superiors as
long as their genuine efforts are not going in vain. There should be a periodic robust
appraisal system which handsomely rewards employees and all the managers and
superior position holders in a company should make it a habit to praise their team
members. Bonuses tied to performance goes a long way in managing employee relations.

All the employers are required to maintain the communication with the employees with
all the code of conduct and general adherence there is been seen that in order to accumulate and

manage the acceptable behaviour the employers are required to manage the work balance
creating the effective management and also by giving regular feedbacks and the motivation to the
employees in the company. Their is been seen that all the training and the supervision is required
to be given which will helps in everlasting and managing the roles and the general mechanism of
the working areas(Moore, and Adshead, 2022). As all the employers hold the accountable
position in the company they should always percolate and frame the ethical code in the company
with which all the appreciation are required to be given to the employees in the company who
are managing the work and are efficiently contemplating the nature and the working. It is been
seen that in order to frame the effective management the moral and the ethical nature serves to be
given by framing the positive working environment to all the employees in the company. Thus, it
is been seen that all the management is aligned with a systematic approach and the employers are
required to frame and manage the code of conduct and the ethical behaviour to be framed in their
working.

The ethical factors like code of conduct and some of the rules and regulations effect the
employee performance because when the employee has some of the directions marked in his
mind he is working according to that direction and the ethics are are the written standards at
workplace conduct which says all the rules and regulations of the company which needs to be
fulfilled and evaluation of ethical conduct as part of regular performance appraisals. It is
basically a system of moral standards of a particular person or a group in the workplace. Ethics
also deals with whether to perform certain kind of activities of the line and what is acceptable in
the organization or not acceptable in the organization and it teaches the values of the firm. There
are some of the basic rules of the company which are being discussed in their agreement also and
it is marked as necessary points to read and there are consequences when someone do not follow
those given instruction and employee can be judged on the basis of how he follows the rules and
code of conduct or not (Rudnicka, Reichel and Bustamante, 2022) It directs the employee to
respect the core values of the organization. because the ethics are practised by the organization in
the surrounding. It also emphasis individual responsibility for personal decision making,

behaviour and action rather than collective responsibility. This system will also help the mangers
to keep a check that employees are completing their task with full dignity and respecting all the
rules regulations and code of conduct. This will also provide and positive environment in the
workplace and employees also get the opportunity to scrutinize the basis upon which the
important decisions were made and this is the vision of the higher authority to be efficient with
completing the task with all their responsibilities(Lašáková, Remišová and Bohinská, 2022).
In all the companies and the organisation there is been analysed that it is the most
important responsibility of all the employers and the managers of the company to provide all the
proper medical facilities to their workforce. Their is been aligned that in all the general
compliance all the nature and the working can be incorporates when the employees feel safe in
that working environment. As in UK there is been given various Health and safety at work act
with which all the rights of the employees are being protected and they should gain the adequate
medical and health facilities.
As in context to employers the ethical dilemma is mainly all the moral conducts which
are required to be addressed and managed it implicates and maintain all the aligned and there is
required to frame they should undergo all the fair and transparency in the work environment and
also treat all the employees with out any biasses and there is required to make effective
communication in which the employers manage all the training and the guidance to be be given
without any discrimination. The employers are required to follow all the legal applicabilities and
also with that their should be given positive working culture to their employees and motivation
to create a peace and ethical environment.
The employees in the other hand have some major ethical dilemma in which they are
required to do all the assigned task in the systematic manner and they should not disclose any of
the information of their organisation in any of the areas outside their premises. It is been noted
that all the employees should manage to be fair with their managers and the company and should
make all the hard work to attain success for the company(Hylving and Lindberg, 2022). The
ethical dilemma is generally the positive attitude and the conducts which are being served in the
individuals behaviour and in all the aspects the organisation require to manage all the focus on
the ethics and the morals with which they can maintain their effective working.
In context to the given case study, as Nisha, Ben and Mark has been working on the
project which relates to the extension of Sokontia in Ness Company. The employee relations in

the company have been given an effort to be improved by having various systems such as peer
review so that there is healthy relationship being built among all the employees. By working in
the group, there can be better relation among workforce which can help in enhancing the
productivity of all. On other hand, the mentor of Nisha was also supportive enough to appreciate
her efforts despite Ben being the one who was capable to meet its deadlines. The efforts Nisha
made for this extension of Sokantia has been rewarded by her mentor and this made the positive
and healthy relationship among the employer and employee.
Hence, it can be concluded that it is very essential to have healthy and positive
relationship among the employees and employer so that the company can foster by enhanced
efforts and productivity of workforce. There are different approaches which may be taken by
both to make their relationship better so that there is positive outcome being drawn out of it.
