It is the ability of an individual or a group towards the influence and guidance of the members of
the organization. As an organizational or a business leader leadership can be defined as the art of
the motivation that is objected towards a group or a bunch of people towards the achievement of
some of the common goals. In the business environment, the process of leadership denotes the
direct meeting of the workers and the colleagues enabling a strategy towards the meet of the
requirements of the company (Bolman & Deal, 2017). The definition and the explanation
captures the essentials for being able to capture the others. Effective leadership traits according t
the leaders of the organization is generally based upon the ideas and is not effective unless in the
case of effective communication techniques. The process of the leadership involves the process
where the leaders are the inspiration and the director of the actions that is directly linked to the
performance (Shamir&Eilam-Shamir,2018). Effective leaders tend to increase the bottom line of
the company, setting the goals and encouraging the members of the team towards meeting their
targets and the goals for the company’s profit and high productivity level.

In case of personal experience in a sports organization, the process of leadership in a sports
organization is some what different that of the normal business units (Antonakis& Day,2017). I
believe that the leaders of the sports organization communicate and interact with each other on a
daily basis. This interaction tends to occur as a part of the individual consultations, formal

meetings or sometimes via informal conversations. The concept of the management of the sports
organization is such an occupation that tends to require some of the best factors and the
excellence in the platform of the leadership in order to execute the performance and the job
effectively. Effective process of the leadership traits does not only tend to need the passion and
the visionary but the presence of adequate leadership skills among the leaders and a strong
ability towards the working under immense pressure (Tourish,2014). In most of cases of my
personal insight I have seen the sports organization observing transformational leadership traits
inside the organization (Fairhurst & Connaughton, 2014). This is because in comparison to the
transactional model of the leadership, the transformational model of leadership is something
more than just meeting the immediate requirements of the team members. The leaders of the
sports like me, does not only motivate the members but also ignite the fire inside the athletes and
the employees towards thee targets and the passion towards the achievement. The complexity of
the sports organization together with the challenges of the changes in the organization needs
some of the high level professional trainings for ensuring effective leadership strategies.

The leadership skills are grown over the time in a progressive fashion. It is thus essential to
recognize that the skills of the leadership like any of the other skills can be learned and improved
thereafter. It is one of the most important factors towards the success and the growth of any of
the organization in its future perspective. The importance of the process of the leadership and the
skills of the leadership in the future professional practice is essential as it helps towards
influencing the people for the performance of their targets and their task efficiently and

willingly. In the context of the organizational management, the concept of the leadership is
extremely essential since it contributes to the maximization of the efficiency of the engagement
and the performance of the team members together with the achievement of the goals of the
organization (Megheirkouni,2017). The traits of leadership helps in the development of
motivation, building of the morale, building of the work environment and development of co-
ordination which are some of the important factors for future professional practice. My personal
experience in the field of the sports organization has been quiet enchanting. With the cognizant
of my interpersonal skill with the addition of the challenges of the sport leaders with legal and
the verbal statements has helped me to understand and perform well in the sports organization I
was employed in.
