INTRODUCTION
Health and social care is one of most large and diverse sector which encompasses the
wide range of services as child care, mental ill services to patients and community health service
etc. In this term, this sector is responsible for monitoring and improvement in the quality of
services by providing better education and development to medical professionals (Abel-Smith
and Titmuss, 2016).
The present report is based on the activities of National Health and Service sector. It is
publicly funded health care unit and provide care services to all UK based citizens. The object of
Health and social service is to provide comprehensive heal and rehabilitation service for
prevention and ways to cure disease. The report is based on exploring the impact of Health and
Social Care Provision to service Users with a mental illness. It is need to be done in order to
provide good and effective care to patients.
This organisation is taking initiatives to improvised health and well being of patients.
With help of professionalism staff, innovation and excellence care to patients can be provided
(Anderson and Thornley, 2014). The one of the main aim is to perform its core functions
expertly so its value can be enhanced.

Introduction- The present report is based on Health and Social care services of National
Health and services sector. The main object of National health and social care service is to bring
improvement in quality care to patients. The staff of medical professional must have qualities as
self esteem, confidence and patience to treat mental disabled patients. With help of hiring skilled
labour workforce the effective care to patients can be delivered. In addition to this, there are
several challenges and improving patient care has become priority for the all health care
providers ( “IBlackwell, Lucas and Clarke, 2014). Thus, lack of appropriate services for the
people with disabilities has significant impact acts as barrier to heath care.

Aim-

Research project selection- The main purpose behind selection of accessing the impact
of Health and Social Care professionals towards delivering care to patients suffering from
mental illness. To identify this number of core strategics will be formulated so that mental illness
of an employee can be prevented. It will be helpful in order to provide excellent services to
patients (Dixon-Woods and et.al., 2013). With help of choosing this research project perception
and experience of medical health care professional can be determined. The various measure can
be known which helps to deliver quality care to mentally disabled patients. With help of
providing effective care the health condition of an patients can be improvised. I have selected
this project to develop my depth understanding about the practices of medical professionals in
providing good care to patients. This is vast topic and it is helpful to gain the depth insight about
providing effective mental health care service to patients. I want to gain depth information about
the uses of medication to reduce mental symptoms among person.

The concept of Health and social care provision of NHS-
The NHS is the entity which provides quality care to the patients. Health care means the
services which will be provided to maintain and improve the health condition of the people whoa
re suffering from harmful disease. According to the view of Dixon-Woods and et.al., (2013)
it can be defined that NHS also generates the income and it also provide social care treatment to
the employees. Thus, health care means the services which is need to be provided for providing
the effective care so that health condition of an individual can be improvised. As per the views of
Fairweather, Sanders and Maynard, (2017), health and social care provision defined as provision
of social work, personal care, protection with support services to adults and children. This is
because, each person has different needs which arising from illness, disability, old age, poverty,
etc. Along with this, statutory care sector also provide formal care services which delivered by

National Health Care, education and early years services consider by local authorities. On the
other hand, Follette and Cummings, (2016) stated that provision of health and social care
consider in act of parliament. This is because, it assists to focus on services that are available
from health and social care providers. It is generic term that used and refer in the whole
healthcare provision infrastructure, public and private sector. NHS treating illness, hospital can
help to create step change in health as well at the same time contributing to reduction in health
inequalities, through promoting health awareness in patients , families, visitors and staff. In 2008
NHS boards supports “ implement specific promoting actions on smoking, alcohol programme”.
NHS national health promotion includes many different internal programs such as: Change 4 life,
NHS life check, Alcohol Focus UK, NHS health and so many to aware the people about health
issues. Health and social care promotions with participants include nurse practice, NHS
executives, health academics and patient representatives. A pro-active approach of health
promotion assesses what quality of care are measured.
The services which are delivers by NHS to its service users
According to the point of Clement, Schauman and Thornicroft, (2015), there are several
kinds of services delivers by NHS to their service users. They regulate quality on sustainable
basis to maintain and solve serious difficulties regarding mental issues. NHS promotes quality
and efficiency to make right choice through competitive results will be attain successfully. NHS
consider common services that provided to patient as emergency case. There are different
general practitioners or dental services provided to explore each services which expect from
NHS. Beside this, Aubry, Goering and Tsemberis, (2015) argued that urgent and emergency
care, pharmacy services, GP services, etc. must be provided by the selected enterprise. In order
to deal with several numbers of patients. In GP services, first point is to contact with many
patients together. It helps to offer information about NHS GP services. Furthermore, dental
services for dental appointment also must be taken with advice so that treatment will be provide
accordingly.
Professional perception of delivering collaborative mental health care services to mentally ill
patients
As per the views of Fairweather, Sanders and Maynard, (2017), NHS consider guidance
regarding mental health services in England. It assists to consider tips for parents and young
generation people with comprehensive glossary of services and teams. In term of hospital

services, it can be stated that right health care centre must be selected in consent to treatment and
aftercare. In respect to consider mental services, NHS must concentrate to deliver services.

are number of research methodologies which will be conducted in below context as are-

topic. In this two kind of techniques will be adopted as are interpretivism and positivism. Thus,
to carry out research topic researcher will make the use of both techniques as are interpretivism
and positivism.
Research design- In order to gather the systematic information there will be of research design
as are experimental, descriptive and exploratory. In this, it can be said that researcher will make
the use of descriptive research design.
Research approach- In this, there two approaches will be carried out as are inductive and
deductive. Thus, inductive approach will be carried out the as to have information in broad
manner. On the other hand deductive approach will be work as to flow the information ion
generalised to broad manner. To carry out the present research descriptive research design will
be used.
Data collection- There are two kind of techniques as are primary and secondary. With help of
primary first hand information will be gathered and it can be done with help of questionnaire
basis. On the other hand, secondary research will undertake with media, books and journals.

explanatory etc. To determine the implication of expert health professionals on mental illness of
patients, descriptive research design will be adopted. It helps to constitutes things as collection,
measurement and analysis of data (Hart and et.al., 2015).
Research approach- It can be determined in the two group as are inductive and deductive. In
this, inductive approach will work as to condense raw textual data in brief summary and format.
On the other hand, deductive approach will work as to develop research questions to narrowed
down the scope of study. With implication of inductive approach broad generalisation of health
care provision of NHS can be determined.
Data collection- It can be defined in two manner as are primary and secondary. In the primary
approach first hand information will be gathered with help of questionnaire basis. For secondary
method book media and television sources will be adopted (Dixon-Woods and et.al., 2013).
Data analysis- There are two method as are qualitative and quantitative. There are many ways as
are cleaning, code and transmission etc. With help of it, effective conclusion can be drawn.
Sampling- In this, there are two method as are probabilistic and non-probabilistic. To determine
the impact of mental illness of patients probabilistic sampling method will be used.
Ethical issues- In this confidentiality of information is need to be protected. Thus, Unauthorized
