1RELIGION
The following paper will discuss about a portion of the Scripture that can be connected
with the lives of the human beings. The topic that has been chosen to focus on the application of
Scripture is the marriage between male and female. The Holy Communion between two persons
will be displayed by connecting with the verses from the Scripture (Kroeger & Beck, 2019). The
messages of Jesus are always taken as the path of guidance for the people to follow when they
begin a new life.
The portion of the Scripture that has been selected for this issue is taken from genesis
1:27-28. This portion of the Scripture is as follows:-
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female
he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and
fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the
heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.' "
Here this section of the Scripture is taken from Genesis and it appears in the New
Testament. Jesus Christ created both male and female. Both of them have been created in the
image of God only. Therefore, both of them are blessed by the God. God also gave male and
female the blessings that would let them to be fruitful and multiply the number of members of
the family through the child (Kroeger & Beck, 2019). This was the only way to create more
human beings. As all human beings are created in the image of God, all human beings would get
the blessings from them. On the other hand, it is the due responsibility of the human beings
creates their dominion over the fish of the sea and birds of the air. This will simply look to be the
leading power of the human beings (Chan & Chan, 2014). God is the creator of human beings in
His image.

2RELIGION
So, all these human beings were created in the forms of male and female. It is thus very
important for the human beings not to discriminate between these two genders. In the Old
Testament, it has been spoken that human beings were created so they could bring the world
under their dominion. This is very clear from this Scripture that Christ is the only entity behind
the creation of the human life. Therefore, the creation of male and female is also subjected to the
Christ Himself. The concept of marriage is the process of fruitfulness that can be yielded by
bearing children and achieving the blessing from Jesus.
In the second section of the paper, I will discuss about these messages of the Scripture in
my own life. My faith in Christianity is limitless and I believe in the attempts of Christ to make
us happy all the time. I believe that me and my wife can stay happy and fruitful if we obey the
messages of Jesus Christ (Chan & Chan, 2014). Only these men and women can be able to fill
the earth with more human beings so Jesus Christ can be happy with the outcomes. Jesus has
bestowed all of human beings with the respect and dignity of creating more human beings so
they can establish their dominion over the fish of the sea and birds in the heavens (Newell,
2016).
Therefore, it is crucial to note that it will be unethical in real life if male and female
misuse this dignity in the unfair means (George, 2016). In the Genesis Scripture, God once told
Noah if anybody in the earth dares to shed the blood of human beings, they will get the
retribution from the human beings in the due manner (Rogerson, 2016). On the other hand,
marriage is the concept through which God will bless both male and female and give them the
energy and power to fill the earth. In the book of Genesis, Moses has also said that men and
women become one flesh after they leave the shadow of their mother and father (Taylor, 2014).

3RELIGION
Personally, I believe Christ’s unparalleled love will be bestowed upon all the human beings
when a man is loving and caring towards his wife.
In the concluding section of the paper, I would like to say that human beings are created
in the form of male and female so they can share their feelings and become one after their
marriage. People should take this aspect of marriage as a divine blessing and complete their
responsibilities towards their wives faithfully. The mentioned portion of the Scripture asks to do
so.
