Pencil 1
I was inspired by continuous line drawings as it
contributed me to grow my creative abilities in my
career.
This art piece is depicting a waitress holding tray
which is considered as important part of
hospitality in hotels.
I have used single line continuous drawing
technique for drawing this picture of waitress
which is holding tray. This technique is used in an
effective manner for showing the clarity in an
effective manner.

Pencil 2
My second picture is based on travel
agent office layout which is considered
as important aspect in context to
hospitality. This has been drawn
through hatching technique which is
used for creating tonal or shading
effects with the aid of closely spaced
parallel lines in an effective manner.
This technique has inspired me in
making drawings in a free and
expressive manner where I can present
my thoughts about hospitality.

Pen 1
• In this section of my project I have chosen to draw chef
who is doing some experiment in his cooking style. This
is drawn with the aid of pen and inspired me to
understand the vital operations of a particular hotel. As
fulfilling customer orders and serve them best taste is
considered as vital for building reputation as well as
awareness of a brand. I believe that my pen drawing has
made this view of chef more realistic and engaging in a
strategic manner..

Pen 2 For this section of my research project, I
have chosen pen design and decide to draw
a serving dome with the use of hatching
technique. I have chosen this pen sketching
and hatching design as it will contribute
significantly in my enhancement of
creativity. This has enhanced my drawings
in an effective manner and made it more
realistic through modelling and shading. I
got inspired for this art piece as in
hospitality sector, this serving dome is
considered as vital for serving and also act
as a luxurious aspect.

Collage 1
First collage is based on concept of travellers who are
willing to explore different places. I was inspired for
formulating this collage as tourism is considered as fast
emerging aspect in UK. This is closely related with theme
of hospitality. I am being able to make this collage as I like
to explore differentiated destinations and meeting people

Collage 2
My second collage is concerned with the concept of famous destination of
London in regards with London. It is based on collecting pictures of different
luxury and exclusive hotels of London. I got inspired with this due to their
luxurious amenities and services they provide to their guests. This is the reason
that they reach to a massive customer base and provide valuable services to
them in an effective manner.

Photography 1
In this section of this project, I have clicked the
image of a Padella Restaurant which is situated
in London. I have used filters in enhancing the
beauty of this photography. Its outlook has
inspired me to include photo of this restaurant.
It offers outdoor seating arrangements, free Wi-
fi, tasty food and many more exotic services.

Photography 2
I have taken a picture of Big Ben which is located in UK, with a height of 316
feet and was known as the Great Bell of the striking clock. I have made this
painting because I like to do photography as well, it attracts me to click
different pictures as a memory to fill my bucket list. I have used grey colour to
give a vintage look to the photo which made it more creative. In this painting,
photography technique is used with the theme relation as hospitality.

I have drawn the painting of omelette in this project as I am fond of eating eggs from
the food and beverages sector. I have made this painting using some attractive colours
so that more people can look at the paining. I have taken hospitality as my theme
relation as this gives me satisfaction and it is a healthy diet taken by so many
customers. I have seen that nowadays most of the people are non-vegetarian and eggs
are very good for heath as it gives proteins to the body. The design used in the painting
is different from other paintings as I have used the painting technique to showcase my
it in front of everyone. I love paintings as the strokes used inspire me to make it more
effective and attractive.

I have drawn painting of a traveller in this presentation because I love to explore new
places and visit them at least for once. Travelling is one of my favourite hobby as it gives
me satisfaction, while working I need break so it helps me to boost up my energy level. I
have taken hospitality in tourism as my theme relation because I love travelling. And also I
am an extrovert person which makes me interact with many new people from other cities.
In this painting, my main focus was to influence a person to move out of their comfort
zone and experience the other taste as well. For better understanding of the project I have
chosen painting technique in my painting as it inspires me to move to different places for
broadening my mind.

Artist Research

Artist Research 1
• Ferdinand Knab is considered as an
influential artist in my life and he inspired
me a lot with his paintings based on
tourist destinations. He was a German
artist who has offered auction of his
famous artworks multiple times
depending on their sizes as well as
medium. I strongly believe that paintings
which are based on tourism have a true
engaging power and empathy. His
paintings look so real and are inspired
from real life strategically.

Artist Research 2
• Second artist which is taken into
consideration is Edward Hooper who is
an American artist and print maker. I
was attracted towards him due to his
stoic as well as fatalistic introvert nature.
He was particularly paid attention to
geometric designs as well as human
figures with the aid of light and shadow
in an effective manner. This painting is
related to hospitality as it is based on the
tourism activities which encompasses of
rafting. .

• I have developed my first art work on the basis
of famous painting of Ferdinand Knab. I try to
draw pyramids of Giza which are shown by
the artist. I tried to make it appealing through
making I was not able to draw it as Ferdinand
Knab by producing clear details in my art
work. I believe that it is little difficult for me
detailing like Knab but I tried to create in a
specified manner.

Favorite Artist Piece
In regards with my favourite artist
Edward Hooper, I have chosen to
draw his famous painting. I tried to
draw it perfect as Edward Hooper but
failed in some sense. As his painting
shows real fun which can also act as a
motivator for travellers in a true
sense. I tried to draw this and also
tried to balance with colour contrast
of sky and water in a strategic
manner. Clear contrast between blue
colour of sky and water is considered
as vital for making this art work
realistic and appealing.
