 Political factors: - These are factors which
consists of the government policies and practices
which affects the organization. Health and social
care organization should have a keen look over it.
 Economic factors: - It is the factor which affect
the investment factor of the organization. like the
labor cost, taxes and management costs. Etc.
 Socio cultural factors: - these are the factors
which are related to customs, values and lifestyles
of society like religion, attitudes, language etc.
 Technological factors: - these are the factors
related to the new technology in the field of health

 Amina is a refugee from syria. When she
arrived at UK she was just 16 at that time
and a place was given to her in a lorry after
the death of her parents. When she reached
UK she applied for asylum. In Uk there are
laws which helps in this; -
1) Section 10 of Immigration and Asylum act
1999.
2) International protection regulations 2006.
When she applied for asylum then there was
temporary accommodation which has been
provided to her for first 18 years and then
granted to remain and given a bedsit.

there was a team which
is supervising her which
include an employee
Helen, who is an
outreach worker from
Connexions. She is due
to visit her to assess her
needs and suggest an
educational route that
could enable Amina to
gain qualifications, so
she can eventually
support herself.
 Helen is one of external
stakeholders in helping
Amina to get the
benefits and contribute
in familiarizing the
needs of her.

which contribute in making her to live in a
helathy environment. She was a refugee who
was affected by the war in syria and was
seeking a place to live in peace. She applied
for asylum in UK and the law of UK contribute
in providing the social life to live a safe life.
 A social care organization helped her in this
process. Helen who was one of the workers of
social care organization helped her in this
process.

STRENGTHS OF THE HEALTH AND
SOCIAL CARE ORGANIZATION
 The health and social care organization have
the strength that they contribute in help a
refugee in her tuff times. A worker who was
from outreach Connexions was appointed to
take care of her. Helen’s supervisor advised
her to familarize herself with Maslow’s
hierarchy of needs before she meets Amina
for the first time. This means they want to
help the refugee at their best and they want
her to sustain and help her to get whatever
they want.
