REFLECTIVE BLOG
Gibbs reflective cycle
Description- I was given a project to prepare report on Facebook business environment. So, we
have to don in group of 5 people. so, I decided to include my friends whom I know very well.
this is because it will help me in finishing on time. thus, we decided to call meeting and decided
that who will do what, how, etc. as we have to completely make new report on it. so, we share
out opinions and views. Therefore, at last we divided our roles and formed a communication
process. Also, we developed a plan as well to do assignment in systematic way. I want to lead
team but my team members did not agree with it. we decided to work individually (Ciampa,. and
Reisboard, 2020).
Feelings- I felt that there has to be one leader so that we can work in effective way. It will help
in guiding and directing in doing task in creative way. So, in between project I realized that it
was not going good as we did not have done anything and deadline was close. Hence, I got
frustrated and decided to lead team. in that I encouraged others that we can do it before deadline.
Thus, I guided others while doing my own work. Then, I prepared a schedule as well that who
will do and when. So, with that I was highly satisfied and shown positive attitude and behavior.
It helped us to perform in effective way.
Evaluation- I found that there were many things which went well in doing this project. As all of
us agreed to work as per schedule and also they decided that I will lead team. furthermore, I was
able to direct them in efficient way and took some harsh decisions as well. besides that, we all
worked together in team. this led to enhance in overall performance. thus, we communicated in
effective way and it led to complete project. The things that went not well I was not able to take
proper decision. So, it affected on team performance. also, one of member was not ready to work
with us and left. Hence, it put more burden on us and we have to work extra to finish in deadline.
So, relationship between members got failed due to it (Ghorbani, and et.al., 2020).
Analysis- I think that by doing meeting we were able to do task in which we were interested.
Thus, I also identified my strength from it. it enabled me to get things done in proper way. In
starting only I could have become a leader that will help me to make things easy and do proper
planning. So, I will be able to support others as well. but I was not able to solve issues which
arise due to which team member left. Besides that, decision taken by me was not effective. Thus,

Conclusion- I have learn that it is necessary to make a leader in group so that in future no issue
arise. Besides that, there is need to share opinions and views with each other so that everyone
feels comfortable to work with. This will help in working in team and helping each other.
Moreover, I learn that decision taken must be analysed so that its pros and cons are identified. It
will help in solving problems easily. There must be regular interaction with each other. I gained
knowledge about ways of taking feedback from members so that i can ensure things are going
well. it will help in enhancing overall team efficiency and attaining goals and objectives in less
time (Younie and Swinglehurst, 2019).
Action plan – In future if there comes other project I will make action plan. I will analyse team
skills and abilities. Thus, on basis of that I will assign to them. thus, it will help me in planning.
In addition, I need to develop several skills as well such as communication, leadership etc. so
that I can easily contribute in project. I must boost my confidence as well so that I can become a
leader. I will need to find out my weak areas so that I can improve it. Then, also I can easily
prepare more reports based on various subject and topics. Also, I will attend training sessions to
