2018. It came to the lime light as it was realized that Cambridge Analytica collected personal
information and data of Facebook users which were used for political aims and campaigning.
This breach of privacy was questioned by a security researcher, which was later out found out to
be a means of importuning data, information and contacts, in order to influence the responses,
behavior and thoughts of people politically. The first report on the matter was done by Journalist
Harry Davies, which was later reported and investigated by several people and gashouses, even
though Facebook kept shit on the matter.

conducted and some senior executives were seen claiming and exclaiming with pride, having
