is misusing of Facebook data related to this project. So Facebook must need to give security
option in their app so that each Facebook user can not misuse of other person data while using
this app.

In case of Cambridge Analytical case, the misuses of data related to the Cambridge
projection, in this case of misuse of data on Facebook app and misuse of confidential data related
to the projection within the university, the academic has been paid for development of Facebook
app which is related to personality quiz and Cambridge Analytical paid for people to take it,
Advertising on platform such as Amazon's mechanical Truck. The misuse of information on
social media can break down the trust of people on the app, who is using Facebook app to share
their important information to each others among friends (Cottrell, 2013). It makes totally
negative impact on the public trust of social media user who use this app at regular basis. Each
people in across the world d use Facebook app effectively and trust on that in terms of sharing

their profiles, photos and other confidential data which is needed to be in privacy. In case of
Cambridge Analytical case, these circumstances make negative impact on overall social market
and use of Facebook app as well.
3. Assessing whether decision be different if company had used the information harvested for
commercial rather than political use
In case of information harvested of the projection of Cambridge analytical, in this case,
the app recorded the results of each quiz, collected data from the taker's Facebook account and
crucially extracted the data of their Facebook friend as well, the results were paired with each
quiz- taker Facebook data to seek out pattern and build an algorithm to predict for other

related to this project (Harris and Ashton, 2011). Facebook denies that the harvesting of ens of

decision towards the information harvesting commercial rather that political use in the case, in
this case suspending of Cambridge Analytical and Kogan which must be in this form, because of
misuse of data in case of unfair and illegal activities according to legislative provision of the
country. Hence, it could be said that in case of information harvest used for commercial then the
decision of Facebook remain same as per before.

from the social media platform
In case of Cambridge analytical, Facebook need to provide ethical critical guideline in
order to establishment to accept the rejection of future usage of data form the social media
platform. Some ethical guideline which Facebook need to establish critically which is, misuse of
company's resources at online platform. They need to provide privacy system in their app by
which they could protect their confidential data within online platform and appropriately share
their confidential data at the workplace efficiently (Raju, 2014). Apart from it, Facebook need to
provide guidelines to use of Facebook app relevantly and record the maintenance of the company
so that each of them would be able to safely use of this app and data misuse case could be
reduced efficiently.
