Facebook is world famous and viral social networking site whereas peoples connect. This site
helps to unite the peoples and purpose is to make the world more open. But now it shows some
issues which affect the whole world. In this article, the critical problem is “Facebook extends the
ban on hate speech to 'white nationalists”. This article discussed the white nationalists and white
separatism. The company takes a significant step towards curbing racism and stop hate speech on
its site. The problem of white nationalism published on Facebook was expanding in 2017 after a
neo-Nazi rally in Virginia. In this case, white nationalists used the social site as a tool to fuel the
hatred and relate far-rights groups in the safety of a Confederate statue.
The company also accepted that it is essential for the social networking site to get better and
faster and determine and taking down and remove the haters from these websites. The civil rights
group said that it is pleasant to the company leadership to take a critical step in renovating its
policy on white nationalism. The killer responsible for deaths of 50 members in New Zealand
this month, they also used Facebook to post racist manifesto before record the massacre at two
mosques live (Schuetz, 2019).
The critical stakeholders of the Company Facebook are Mark Zuckerberg, Jim brayer, Dustin
Moskowitz, Peter Thiel, David Choe, and Bono shares. They all are discussing this problem and
wants to improve this issue. Mark Zuckerberg broke silence on white supremacist
Charlottesville, which is written in a Facebook post. Mark said that: after watching the condition
closest and removes the threats of physical harm and takes possible to remove these types of
jobs.
Every stakeholder gives their reviews of the issue to ban on hate speech to white nationalists.
They also discuss the reasons for these problems and make plans to remove these posts which
show negative impacts on the company and their users. The company will take actions and
enforcing the new policy which started next week. Facebook built a scanning system which is
added in its rules which is based on the reactions to modify in user behaviour and public chaos.
All these types of issues directly affected to the users of the sites and it also changes the
company image. Twitter also prohibited offensive conduct and imaginative but has criticised for
clear some white supremacists and extremists (Carriew, 2017).

The implications for this article from the marketing perspective show some negative as well as
some positive indications. Facebook Company makes plans to remove these types of issues. Its
stakeholders and partners also take appropriate action. The actions are company make policies
and identify the problems base.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence helps to reduce risk. But the company said that it has
more work to do but make some solutions to solve these issues. The stakeholder’s reviews are in
favour of the company.
Civil right groups have also appreciated the company actions and their policies. Mark
Zuckerberg analysis the situations clearly and carefully and take down the threats to remove the
issues and decrease the effects of the problems. Other stakeholders also provide their reviews
and coordinate and follow the Mark action towards the point. Now Facebook new policies allow
its users to advocate for white nationalism, but it did not for the white supremacy. Facebook
accept its mistakes and promise to its users that these types of issues which are posted for the
open world will be stopped and take suitable actions to reduce it. According to my opinions
Company will make proper strategies to prevent these types of issues so the users will use social
networking sites safely (Novak, 2018).
