The education of the client through a health promotion and alcohol consumption behavioural
control program is necessary. The counselling processes pertaining to alcohol and other

space, it is important to have a one to one interaction with the person and apologize at first for
the breach of the ethical consideration and then follow up with documentation process as to
assure confidentiality and person’s rights from now on. ,
5. How were you able to determine the needs of the client
accurately? (Max 60 words)
Determining the needs of the client accurately is important and a needs assessment was
taken to understand the needs of the client. An alcohol and other substance dependence was
assessed followed by a physical assessment that was performed to understand the physical
needs of the subject. A behavioural assessment was also done to understand and determine
the mental health needs of the client. (Grebely et al. 2016)
