Reflection 2
Introduction
In case of nursing, group facilitation is must require thing for handling different
situations. That is a perfect thing for making impact on the client for their health care and other
things. Making something is easy is known as facilitate someone. Appropriate use of different
skill of different persons is happened in the field of nursing through group facilitation. There are
many thing can be developed using knowledge sharing and discussion of different cases with
colleagues. It is useful for handling client and it is effective to achieve goals.
According to my opinion, it was first time of presentation for my group members and me.
We are energies us for that presentation using sharing our knowledge and plan a group
discussion, which help us for better understanding of the presentation. It was useful and it
provide involvement of everyone in the presentation. I was having stage fear but my partners
helping me and after sometime during the session I was more confident for managing all session
activities and give my best for that session.
This is a post analytic reflection of our session it includes different things about
facilitation plan with our strength and weakness of us for that session. It will also include critical
analysis and summary of our session. For our group facilitation activity, we collect lots of
material about the depression, different anxiety, cognitive behavior therapy, psychological needs,
and different medical conditions of the patents (Chen & Chen, 2015). All are searches from the
different articles for making our presentation better.
I had done research on those topics for make our content more relevant to the topic and it
was helpful for ideas and suggestion for our planning about our session. We add some activities
in our presentation for making it little bit funny, which makes audience more relaxed and cool
during the session. They can also share their opinion as they belong from that session. It was
helpful for us for making our session more effective. Formal atmosphere is better for feeling
free from all the fears.
We start our session with psychological needs of patient’s articles for making our session
more enjoyable for others. The next part of our plan is an activity for making all the participants
active during our session. It also includes brief knowledge about the course material (Odhuba,

2011). My team and I want to explain about depth knowledge of the articles and other things,
which are related to the healthcare. It was also encourage us for next activities and plans during
the facilitation session. We also were having a plan for feedbacks of participants on our session.
I learnt from my practices and experiences as a person in the medical field from different
cases, which I attend in my life. Almost Every patient had some fear of treatment, so it is so
necessary to take care of them using advice and proper treatment guidance (Pollard, Ray, &
Haase, 2014).
After group presentation, I learned that helping and counseling people with deep pain
and suffering from a variety of things requires compassion, empathy, caring and counseling. We
learned that emotional and caring behavior helps to feel distress from sorrow and fatigue. Family
members play a key role in reducing post - traumatic stress disorder of a patient. These physical
symptoms can be high if not treated properly. Self - Management techniques provide inner
courage to avoid compassion fatigue (Figley, 2013).
According to me, these are so several schemes to avoid grief and fatigue, but social
responsibilities are so helpful in avoiding grief. Self - Management programs help patients and
act as a positive attitude. Nurses are a part of treatment in many cases. They provide positive
impact and motivate patient and families for avoid fatigue (Vansteenkiste & Ryan, 2013). I leant
about counseling process and it is having many benefits for motivate the nurses for their work. It
is a best approach for avoiding grief and compassion fatigue at workplace. I leant that, It is also
necessary that a health policy, which is compulsory for the all staff members, which reflect on
their attitude towards the patients and families (Houck, 2014).
Conclusion
It is concluded from the previous parts of this report that, I was so nervous in the starting
of the presentation, but when we started it with full of knowledge and understating of the topic
then felt so better. I also felt good after people asking question from our delivered content of
presentation. We gave all the answers of every query behalf of our knowledge.
Finally, it is concluded that I always give my best in future, as I have good experience
from that presentation.
