INTRODUCTION
Facility management is an interdisciplinary business function which coordinates
infrastructure, space, organization and people. It deals in different areas such as arenas, universities,
schools, sporting complex and administration of office blocks, shopping complex, convention

hand, operation management defines as an administration of business practices which is used to
develop the high level of efficiency for an organization. It is a process of transformation of material
and human resource into goods and service by utilizing the existing resources as much as possible
to achieve high profit level. The present research is based on facility and operation management
(Vetráková, Potkány and Hitka, 2013). Objectives will cover under the present study are
operational responsibility of a facility manager, legal, health, safety and environmental obligations
to be addressed by facilities operations, application of administrative systems to support facilities
operations and ways to review quality and effectiveness of the facilities.
