INTRODUCTION
In an organisation, the facilities are required to be managed and handled in a proper way.
The effective management of operations and various functionalities will help in proper handling
of business activities. The management of an organisation will look after proper handling of a
wide range of business operations that support the increase of capabilities and effectiveness
within a firm. For the project, Marriott Group is been chosen as organisation of context. It is a
UK based hospitality enterprise. The project involves a report including assessment of roles and
responsibilities of a facilities' manager for staff involving various aspects of firm. Besides this,
the role of facilities manager towards customer care is evaluated (Gao and You, 2015). Apart
from this, the impact of facilities operations on employers and funding agencies is discussed. A
presentation involving various statutory regulations, health and safety measures and
documentation requirements are been assessed. Other than this, an essay including the
information processing system, requirements of building management and assessment of the
qualities and effectiveness of facilities for the firm are provided.

The facilities' management plays a very deep and crucial role in handling of operations
and thus support effective execution of business operation in a greater run. The facility
management involves the effective providing of support services that are required to be managed
and offered to customer for an effective handling of operations and activities. It can be defined as
an organizational functionality which integrates people, place and process and thus, helps in

life people leads. Other than this, it scopes to increase in productivity of core business which

business organization, the firm will look after the proper implementation of the wide range of
business activities that will help in increasing effectiveness of firm. For this, the strategic facility
planning approach is been undertaken by Marriott Group that will help in improving its
performance (Low, Gao and Ang, 2018). This should be affordable and feasible for the business
entity in case of implementation. Besides this, the organization has to look after the operational
cost related to offering of different facilities or services to their clients. This will help the firm to
have a good revenue generation and handling of a wider business activities.

On the basis of the presented project, this can be said that the management of operation
and facilities is very crucial, critical yet important for a business entity. This assessment has
helped in identifying the different measures that will improving the quality of services and
business activities which will improve its business performance. Other than this, different legal
obligations related to facilities and operations are been taken in consideration by a firm which
will support a significant rise in operations and thus increase the quality of services that are been
offered by the firm to its customers. Besides this, the proper system for management planning
and adoption of systems that will make the work environment of the organization hassle and
stress free with proper evaluation criteria for the employees.
