The essay will focus on the factors that contribute to the success of student and also
exhibit the significance of each factor and how the factors are responsible for the academic
success of the student. It is very crucial for the students to maintain their focus and
concentrate in order to be successful. The development of sensory surrounding is most
advantageous for the student as it helps them to direct their attention towards their goal
(Sulaiman and Mohezar 2006). There are various sensory surrounding factors that are
advantageous for the student that include learn well and sleep well, the student should
continuously test themselves, consume memory aids and space out their learning skills. There
are different factors that affect the performance and success of the student such as work
experience, ethnicity, age, gender and undergraduate discipline. The essay will include in
detail the list of different factors and their significance in improving and enhancing the
success rate among the student that includes effective dedication and motivation,
engagement, participation, organization, preparation, time management and self-belief on
individual ability (Williams et al. 2017).
There are various factors that are affecting the performance of the student and are
directly related to the success rate of the student that include work experience, ethnicity, age,
gender and undergraduate discipline. The teacher who take care of their student is crucial for
the success of the student as the teacher caring behaviour assist the student to actively
participate, communicate and identify their individual strength and limitation. Effective
cultural and empathy knowledge have a positive impact on the student as it help them to
grasp opportunities that further help them to enhance their learning capabilities and
performance (Fong et al. 2017). Adequate support from community and family members also
help the student to enhance their learning skills as the adults are involved in taking care of the
student thereby helping them to evolve in a financially sound surrounding with better
academic access and accountability. The complete access to the resilient role models are also

crucial in improving and up surging the student towards success and the students are
motivated and inspired to easily overcome from any poverty-associated obstacles and use this
model to identify the steps that will help them to overcome adversity. Finally, the students
should adapt crucial steps that will motivate them and act as career aspiration that will help
them to get motivated and encourage from others thereby improving their overall
performance (Showers and Kinsman 2017).
There are different factors that help the student to get motivated and lead them
towards success, where each factors have a separate significance that will help the student to
utilize these factors and be successful. The factors contributing to the success of the students
with individual significance are as follows (Nachatar 2018):
 Preparation- The student should adapt different preparation skills that will help them
to enhance their reading skills and complete their assignment on time that will help
them to understand the subject in detail and gain more knowledge regarding the
subject that is either taught in class or the student learn themselves. Hence,
preparation is an important phenomena to develop their understanding skills.
 Self-belief on their individual ability- In order to be focused and bear a positive
attitude towards their life, it is very important that the student has a string self-belief
and they believe on their ability that will further assist them to overcome from their
stressful time and appropriately achieve their goal (Mesidor and Sly 2016).
 Participation- In order to be successful in life the student must gain the ability to
actively participate in different activities that include group discussion or seminars as
it will help the student to enhance their skills and understand their individual strength
and weakness.
 Dedication and motivation among students- Student’s success depends on the
factors like focus, dedication, commitment and motivation. The students should have

a willingness to work hard in order to get the desired results. The students should also
be able to take advantage from all the opportunities that are available to them and
should have the determination to achieve the goal.
 Engagement in students- The level of engagement among students is necessary to
achieve success. This can be achieved by the strong association of the student with the
teacher or the guide that helps them to understand and gain the required amount of
knowledge for the task that is to be performed by the students so that they can succeed
in that particular task (Stelnicki, Nordstokke and Saklofske 2015). As the success of
the students largely depend on the teachers they should try and make the entire
process of learning fun and engaging for the students. This way the students will find
the teachers much more approaching. This will help and motivate the students to
perform better and that will ultimately lead to success.
 Time management and Organization among students- Time management is a very
important part of every student’s daily routine as it helps them to arrange their entire
day’s work in a very structured manner. The students who have high levels of time
management skills they set put themselves in a very positive position with respect to
the college experiences. Organization is also very important for the student in order to
get success. It also teaches the students the importance of self-discipline and they
understand the need to prioritize the tasks (Smith 2018).
It can be concluded that there are various factors that affect the success rate of the student
and it is very crucial for the student to identify such factors and also adapt steps that will help
them to overcome from learning disability. The different factors that will contributed in the
success of the students were also highlighted in the essay that included Preparation, Self-
