This research report, conducted for the IBUS 6000 course, investigates the critical factors that contribute to the development of a global mindset in international business managers and how this mindset influences their strategic decisions, particularly concerning foreign direct investment (FDI). The study examines the roles of cognitive skills, affective commitment, and interpersonal skills, using a cross-sectional research design with data collected through questionnaires from managers and employees in Singaporean companies. The report includes a literature review, research methodology, data analysis using SPSS software, and discussion of findings. Key findings reveal the impact of these factors on global mindset and its relationship to FDI, offering valuable insights for international business strategy. The report includes ethical considerations, reliability tests and statistical analysis such as regression and ANOVA tests, to support the hypothesis development. The conclusion and recommendations are provided to improve the understanding of global business dynamics.
