Learning is defined as the processes of acquiring new skills, knowledge, behaviour,
values, attitude and preferences through different processes. There are various factors which
impact learning of students which are explained below:
Age: This factor is related to cognitive abilities of an individual. Learners of
different age groups possess different cognitive abilities and increase in age leads
to decrease in cognitive capability as chemicals in the brain change during
puberty. The positive impact of changes in age on learning is that it leads to
preservation of motor skills while the negative impact is that learning tasks which
require associative binding are negatively affected.

Culture: The cultural background of a student has high influence on the way in
which the student participates in education and gains knowledge. Engagement in
learning process is significantly dependent on cultural background of the student
and teachers adopt their learning style as per the cultural background of the
student (Foreman and Arthur-Kelly, 2017).Apart from this diverse cultural
environment of a classroom helps students gain a more comprehensive
understanding of the subject matter as perspectives from different students do you
do the diverse cultural backgrounds are discussed in the classroom. The positive
impact on of culture I'm learning is that is that helps the worldview of the students
and influences their learning remembering talking and behaving. In a way culture

retaining information, and paying attention and are used to solve problems, remember
tasks and make decisions. All this affects the quality of our learning and performance.
Physical disability: Children with disabilities have very low rates of initial
enrolment. Even if they do attend school, children with disabilities are more likely
to drop out and leave school early without transitioning to secondary school and
beyond.
Special learning disability: SLD is a neurological condition that affects a person's
ability to hear, talk, read, write, and calculate. Because these illnesses frequently
manifest themselves at a young age, it is simple to spot learning issues throughout
childhood. Dyslexia, dysgraphia, and learning problems are among the various
forms of learning disabilities that fall under the overarching concept "particular
learning impairment (Dovigo, ovigo and Janssen, 2017)."
Visual impairment: Professionals are using the term "visual impairment" to
characterize any type of vision loss, whether someone can't see whatsoever or has
partial vision loss. Some people are totally blind, while others suffer from what is
known as vision impairment. to put it another way Visual impairment is described
as a restriction of the visual system's activities and functions. Low vision is

everyday activities and is not corrected by normal glasses, eye glasses,
medications, or surgery.
Hearing impairment: Hearing impairment that is not addressed leads to delays in
language comprehension, which leads to learning issues and poor school
performance. Parents may not recognise that their kid can listen but not grasp the
effect of hearing loss on a student's capacity to study. Many kids with hearing

knowledge than their peers. They improve their academic skills, do better on
accomplishment exams across the board, and have more topic understanding than
their non-reading classmates.
Task 2: Understand the impact of policy and regulatory frameworks on inclusive
practice
2.1 Summarise policy and regulatory frameworks relating to inclusive practice.
Equality Act 2010 : Equality act law mandates institutions to not discriminating
against anyone with a protected feature. The Equality Act of 2010 brings a new,
unified legislative structure as well as a better and clear, more simplified law to
combat disadvantage and discrimination. Any education institution, along with a
commercial or private vendor, is prohibited from discriminating amongst learners on
the basis of disability, race, sex, hormone therapy, maternity and motherhood, religion
and belief, or physical intimacy under the Equality Act 2010.
Equal opportunities : Impulsive people make dangerous judgments because they are
driven by instant gratification instead of the long-term unfavourable repercussions of
their choices, implying greater reward tolerance and/or lower responsiveness to bad
outcomes. When selecting a low-risk decision, the strong impulsives had a bigger P3
and the low impulsives had such a smaller P3, implying that the elevated choice was
the default for the strong impulsives and the low-risk choice was the standard for the
low impulsives. Particularly in the high option, the low impulsive exhibited a greater
mistake which is related to negativity than the high impulsives, suggesting that the
low impulsives thought the hazardous choice that was a bad decision. The findings
show that high impulsive people are biased toward instant satisfaction during option
appraisal, but they are less sensitive to the negative implications of their decisions.
Widen participation. It entails attempting to raise not only the number of teenagers
enrolling in higher ed, but also the percentage of under-represented communities.
Increased involvement straregy attempts to overcome disparities in higher education
participation among several under-represented categories of students. Students from
low-income families and other inadequately communities may encounter challenges

learn the institutional requirements of education, Philip Jackson created the phrase

observing specific institutions. give leadership in putting the building of a self-
sustaining learning society at the centre of the nation's common good. design a
national plan for post-secondary education that aims to broaden rather than limit
enrollment.
2.2 Explain how policy and regulatory frameworks influence organisational policies
relating to inclusive practice.
Criminal record bureau: The Police National Computer (PNC) in the United
Kingdom keeps track of all trackable offences. It stays with the person until he
or she reaches the age of 100. However, there is no legal process for
requesting the removal of court judgments. In some extraordinary
circumstances, someone may be able to expunge cautions and convictions
from your criminal record. Organizational policies are influenced by policy
and regulatory frameworks, which provide documentary rules on regulating
behaviours in order to guarantee that an organised structure is followed for
conformity to inclusion (Clark-Howard, 2019).
Staffing ratio: The ratio of the place's employees or workplace to some other
group, such as employees in an sector, clients to doctors in a hospital, or
students to teachers in a classroom, is defined by the definition as the
proportion of a location's staff or workplace to another group. Nurse staffing
ratios are greater, which leads to better care for the patients. It has the potential
to improve collaboration and care coordination. Nurses have more chance to
teach patients about their medical condition. Nurses can also help patients find
services to help them live better lives and handle their illnesses.
Quality assurance: Quality Development and Quality Control (QI/QA) is in
charge of overseeing the success of the Mental Health Care plan by overseeing
and reviewing clinics, organisations, and doctors that provide services to our
