INTRODUCTION
Employees are the most important asset of the organisation. Motivation of the employees
refers to the level of the energy, commitment and creativity that a company's worker bring to
their jobs (Panait and Panait, 2018). Human resource management is always concern about the
motivation of the employees. Various strategies are followed by the organisation to motivate
their employees as it lead to the increase in the efficiency of the organisation. This report will
discuss about the factors that motivates the employees in the workplace of the organisation. It
will also shed light on the positive and negative effect that are experienced by the employees as a
result of their job.
MAIN BODY
Factors that motivate employees to work
There are various factors that lead to motivation among the employees. These may include:
Salary:
This is one of the major financial motivation that initiate action and initiative among the
employees. With the aspect of enabling high salary employees will be motivated to take action
good and appropriate action that will lead to the attainment of the goal of the organisation (Faraz,
and et.al., 2021). Since this is a monetary mode of motivation so with the aspect of this form of
motivation it would be easy for the organization that it will encourage the employees to take
effective actions.
Promotion:
This is another but important mode of motivation that would lead to initiate action and high
performance from the employees. Promotion refers to the up-liftment of the job position. With
the enabling of promotion by the companies the employees will be motivated that if they would
take effective action then it will entitle them promotion which would ultimately raise their
performance.
Work environment:
This is also a major factor that would lead to employee’s motivation. This is because if there
would be positive work culture and environment then it will lead to raise motivation among them
which will ultimately lead to high performance (Nugroho and et.al., 2020). This is the major

factor of motivation because if there would be a negative and work pressure environment then it
will lead to demotivation among employees.
Career opportunities:
This is also an important motivator for the employees because with the aspect of enabling good
career opportunities employee would be able to get attract as well as retain within the
organisation. This would also act as major source of motivation that would tie the employees
with the company. This would also involve enabling of training and skill development
opportunities.
Bonus:
With the enabling of bonus and financial incentives employees will be motivated. This would
involve the aspect of performance appeal too under which the employees will be motivated with
aspect of new song their performance (Badubi, 2017). This would involve the motivation based
on making a appraisal with the aspect of making good moves by the employees. With this
method employees will be motivated to take more initiative and good action.
Ethical consideration and work culture:
These are also an important and major motivator that would lead to have a direct impact towards
the motivation of the employees. This is because if the organization would be a follower of
ethics and a compliance would be made in terms of laws related with employees betterment
would also as an motivator for the employees. Likewise, with the aspect of positive work culture
inn the organization employees will be motivated to work well along with taking of good action.
This would also raise their efficiency of work.
Positive factor
There are various positive factors that employees experience with regard to their job role. These
may include a balance between work life and personal life. This would also include the factors
that is related with the enabling of creative and different work that would lead to create positivity
among employees. Likewise, the positive work culture and environment also plays an important
role. This is because if the employees will feel that their work is making a contribution with
respect to the organization then it will lead to raise their positive experience towards the job
(Hersona and Sidharta, 2017). This also includes the friendly co-workers and interaction that

persistence of positive factors are important because these would act as base that would lead to
motivate the employees which will further raise their performance. This is because if there would
be positive action towards the job role then not only employees but the organization would also
be benefited in terms of achievement of the goal.
Another factor that motivate the employee is the workplace environment. It plays an essential
role in the motivation of the employee. A positive work environment and diversity in the
business lead to the increase in the efficiency of the workers. The surrounding of the workplace
impact the behaviour of the employee in various ways that include motivation, encouragement
and communication skills (Rožman, Treven and Čančer, 2017). The positive attitude and the
behaviour of the leader also motivate and create positive impact on the employees and the work
of the employees. It lead to the increase of the engagement and loyalty of the employees.
Positive experience factor of the employee experience in the organisation also include the
programs such as rewards. Human resource management of the organisation offers bonus and
rewards to the employees on the basis of their performance. It motivates the employees to
increase their productivity and quality of the work in the organisation. These positive factors are
creates motivation, engagement and lead to increase their performance in the operational activity
in the environment.
Negative Factors
It refers to the factors that decrease the motivation of the employees or demotivate the
employees in the organisation negative factors of the employees crease various challenges in the
business that include decrease in the efficiency, creativity in the operational activities in the
organisation. There are various factors that creates a bad experience of the employee in the
organisation (Fiaz, Su and Saqib, 2017). Salary plays an important role in the motivation of the
employee. Sit the employee is underpaid it will created negative impact on the experience of the
employee. It will demotivate the employee and lead to the reduction in the positive workplace
environment. An underpaid employee will also demotivate the other employees in the
organisation.

Every employee has their basic and social needs that needs to be fulfilled by the human
resource management of the organisation. These needs must be completed in order to motivate
the employee. If the basic and social needs of the employee is not fulfilled it will lead to the
negative experience of the employee. It include safety, love and care. If an employee does not
feel safe in the workplace of the company it will demotivate the employee. Employee needs to be
in care of the organisation. Ignoring the care and safety of the employee may decrease the work
efficiency in the operations of the business.
An employee who applies for a promotional opportunity and does not get the job can be
extremely negative, especially if promotional opportunities are perceived as limited. Promotion
of the employee is also necessary in order to keep the employee motivated. Organisation need to
take care of the the employees in order to increase the growth and effectiveness in the operations
in the business. Family and work life balance also plays an important role in the experience of
the employee as it refers to the proper balance of the work and the family (Emmanuel, 2018).
Every worker has family and they want to spend time with them. If the managers do not balance
the work life of the employees or they increase the work load or working hour of the employees,
it will create a great negative impact on the experience of the employee. The working hours and
the work load in the organisation has a huge impact on the motivation of the employee it also
include casual leaves. The happy family will lead to the happy employee. These factor of in the
business environment need to be carefully managed to increase the motivation of the employees.
Negative experience of the employee cause negativity in the workplace environment and that
directly impact the growth and service o the company.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be conclude that employee’s motivation is an important
aspect with respect to an organization. This is because if the employees will be motivated then it
will lead to raise their action and initiatives in terms of good moves and actions. Since
employees are the essential aspect of the organization so taking of adequate strategies in respect
