1.1 Executive Summary
The report highlight that both the organization in the current scenario is facing the issue of
competition in the market. This problem in the market has created the variety of the issue
such as reduced profitability and improving employee turnover. Report highlights the
industry analysis of both the organization and also highlights the recommendation such as
adopting new technology and using better marting platform will be better for the
organization.

1.2 Introduction
The report highlights the variety of the different type of the problem whch is genrally faced
by both the client Fairefield School of Business and London School of Science and
technology. After that the report concludes the industry overview and also issue which is
being faced by company. In the end the report highlights the recommendation to overcome
the variety the issue for the organization.
1.3 Problem Statement
Fairfield School of Business: The biggest issue which is being faced by University in
the current scenario is that organization is finding it difficult to recruit the good quality of
professional teacher in the University and also retaining the same (Ezrachi and Stucke,
2016). Another problem which is being faced by the company in the current scenario is that
company is finding it very difficult to retain the staff member for longer period of time in the
organization reason behind the same is identified that the University used to not provide that
sort of motivational factor to the staff member and unhygienic facility in the college.
FSB college HR department is finding it very hard to find out the candidate in the
market with a skill set which can help University in carrying out different activity very easily.
Another problem which was identified was offering less number of growing opportunity to
the employee of University.
London School of Science and technology: They are seeing the issue of reduction in
amount of the admission in the University. As it has been seen that there are many different
University who are operating in the market, these has increased the amount of competition in
the market which eventually has created the variety of the issue for University in attracting
the good number of student toward the University (Jones and Sufrin, 2016). Another issue
which has been highlighted that organization is finding it really difficult to retain the
employee in the organization as well as there are many different university which used to

provide better facility of studies to the student which has helped the University in maintaining
good sort of student base of University in the long run. Another problem which is being faced
by LSST is maintaining good and healthier working environment in which different
employee can work very easily.
1.4 Industry Analysis
Educational Industry is one of the industry in the current scenario which used to see a good
amount of the competition in the market, it generally gives a idea that there are many number
of the University who used to provide the learning to the different student in the market.
Hence this industry is very competitive in nature. There are in total 700 colleges which used
to operate in the UK market.
Fairefield School of Business: Looking at the different courses which is provided by
Fairefield School it has been provided that FSB in the organization used to provide good sort
of management courses in University (Ezrachi and Stucke, 2016). Also, company specify
in providing public and social care courses in the market. There are many different university
who are providing same sort of the courses in the market with using more innovative way to
provide the learning to the student in the market. London Metropolitan, University of Oxford
are two such type of the University who used to provide these sort of the courses in the
organization, these used to create a good sort of competition for the organization as they are
having better goodwill in the market. One of the innovative way of services which was
provided by the University was virtual open day facility.
London School of Science and technology: Looking a the courses which has been
provided by the University it has been identified that the first is very much specialized in
offering the courses in the context of Science and Technology sector. There are many
different type of University which also used to offer the same courses in the market, These
certainly used to create the variety of the competition forces which has to be answer by the
University. Lancaster University, Imperial College of the London are two type of the colleges
in the market who have created a good sort of the name in the industry by offering good sort
of services to the student in the market. These company generally uses goodwill as a main
marketing tool in the market to attract the eye of different student toward the industry. There
are local industry such as UCL, King College generally used which used to impact the

performance of the business at local level as well as they used to attract the eye of London
student in the market as well (Jones and Sufrin, 2016).
1.5 Clien’s Issues
Fairefield School of Business: The first issue which was their for the organization
was that organization is not providing good sort of motivational factor to the staff member in
the university which has increased the staff turnover in the organization. Another issue which
was identified by the client was using outdated technique to provide the learning to the
student biggest factor behind doing the same in the organization was not able to get a good
number of the professional teacher in the University to provide good and modern way of
learning (Thurow, 2017).. Another issue which was identified for Fairefield School of
Business is not providing the good hygenetic facility in the organization, these has eventually
drive the different staff member in the organization to look for any other option in the
University. This has created the issue for the organization in maintaining good sort of staff
member in the organization.
London School of Science and technology: First issue which is being faced by LSST
is that employee are student are more attracted toward the other University in the industry
reason behind the same is identified that organization is not having that sort of brand
awareness in the market these eventually used to create the variety of the different type of the
issue. Another issue which has been identified is that organization is not able to provide a
good sort of working environment in the market, in which all the employee can easily work.
This increase the employee turnover in the organization. Another issue which has been
identified is the recruitment policy of the company as it has been identified that organization
is finding it difficult to attract new profession main reason which was highlighted for the
same is that organization is not able to provide good sort of salaries to the profession in the
nation (Telser, 2016). .
1.6 Recommendations

After going through the issue and industry analysis there are some recommendation which
has to be made for both the organization. Recommendation for both the organization are as
follows:
Fairefield School of Business: The first thing which has been recommended to the
organization is that they has to make sure that they used to adopt new way of providing
teaching to the student in the University. This can be done by using updated technology in the
organization and also hiring more talented professional in the organization to carry out
different operation of the business. Another thing which has been recommended to the
organization is that they has to make sure that they used to maintain good sort of hygienic
workplace environment (Kim, Choe and Petrick, 2018)..
At the same time it has been recommended to LSST That they must used variety of
the different type of the marketing tool in the organization to attract the eye of employee and
student these will eventually help the company in improving the performance of the business.
At the same time HR department of the company also has to make sure that they used to
provide good sort of training to the leader about how to maintain good sort of working
environment (Acemoglu and et.al., 2016).
1.7 Conclusion
After going through the above report it has been concluded that in the current scenario both
the organization are facing the issue of competition in the market. For the same LSST has
seen good amount of decrease in the profitability of the company as number of admission has
reduced. At the same time Fairefield School of Business has seen reducing sustainability of
the business
