Fred’s personal strengths the ability and conscientiousness to survive alone and
without any need for esteem or belonging. His most important resource is the disability
support network that help him find the jobs in spite of leaving a number of jobs. His
personal strengths are rapid learning, attention to details, quick decision making and a
very hard worker. In spite of having a lame arm, he is still very dexterous at physical
type of jobs and he can surely take up and perform at any job, if provided with the
right job. The care view support services would help him with self-development and
skill development along with development of self-awarenessi and existential driveii.

He had severe attachment problems with his family and run away from his foster home.
Escapism is still an issue with him and he has been through a number of jobs without
actually sticking to one. He has relationship issues as well and attachment- detachment
is very much a complex problem in his relationships with women as well. He has
cultural gaps and communication barriers as well. He became violent with one of his
colleagues who was teasing him and was thrown out of the job. His coping and
adaption strategies are recreational substance abuse and over sleeping.
The care facility will help him with the directive and person centered counseling as well
as to recover from his past life trauma.
