1. AUTHORITY
The report has commissioned by Children’s court. The role of court is to ensure that children
and their parents should be protected so that they can live their life safely and they will not face
any problem. In the given case study Tabitha is living with his son and husband. Her four year
old son is attending play group at the centre. Adam’s father is not behaving properly with
Tabitha and Adam. Earlier Tabitha and John was for about 5 years, and after sometime they she
became pregnant. Tabitha was working in the supermarket and there she met with John. After
sometime, John did not like working of Tabitha and his behaviour changed. Tabitha did not like
this and John was misbehaving with his wife as well as with his son (Ainsworth & Hansen,
(2017)). About six month ago child protection services visited Tabitha while John was at work.
She wanted to protect her children from this torcher because she did not want that at this small
age her child should face such issues and she want to protect her child from John.
Child protection court will help Tabitha from protecting her and his son so that John cannot
misbehave with them and Adam can live safe and healthy life. It is important to take necessary
steps which will help in child protection. Qualification that is required to complete the children’s
court is that they should have degree from well known college. A person must have completed
have eighteen years of age. The children court only deals with children and young people, it can
be applied because it will help in protecting Tabitha and her son. They will be safe if they take
help from children court and it is beneficial for women. The court helps in protecting women
who are having such issues and they will help them in providing them safe place and
environment so that they can live their life happily.
2. INFORMATION SOURCES

obtained so that decision can be taken and it will be beneficial for party who is suffering. It help

interviews will be recorded of John and Tabitha. It is the duty of person who is handling
children’s case to collect relevant information and all the details must be verified so that there
will eb no mistake while taking decision. This will help Tabitha and her son in getting their
rights and they can spend life safely.
Sometimes, it happens that evidence is not available due to which wrong decisions is being
taken. In the given case, children court will verify details properly and they will take fair
decision so that Tabitha and her son can live without any fear and she can continue her job.
Adam is very small and he needs proper care which his mother is giving (Blewer, (2017)). He is
just a child and if he will see that her father is misbehaving with his mother then this will lead to
bad impact on him. It is not good for his future and he should get proper education so that he can
make his future bright. For taking decision relevant information is gathered and it will help
Tabitha to continue her job and give proper care to Adam and provide good education to him.
When relevant information is being collected then it is easy for judge to take decisions and all
things are clear.
Limitation of information source is that sometimes it is difficult to collect details or
evidences on the basis of which decision can be made. When details are not collected then it will
lead to negative impact as the victim has to suffer and Tabitha has to live with his husband and
suffer misbehave. So, it is the responsibility of person who is fighting case for Tabitha to collect
all the details so that she can get right and live her life properly (ZEMLJAK, (2017)). She cannot
spend her whole life by suffering and suffering misbehave of John, she has to provide proper
education to Adam and take care that Adam will not get affected.
3. FAMILY STRUCTURE
In the given case, Tabitha is of 44 years, John is of 38 years and Adam is four year old.
Adam is the son of Tabitha and John is father of Adam. According to the given case, it can be
noticed that John is misbehaving with his wife because he did not like that Tabitha is doing job
late night at the supermarket (Gately, Ellis, McCue & Horrigan, (2018)). He does not think about
Adam that is small and it will have bad impact on him and all his future depends on present
situation. He should get proper education and as parents it is the responsibility of John and
Tabitha to take care of him and take care that he is getting all the necessary facilities which is
beneficial. Three of them are living in the house so they should spend their life happily and help
each other in taking care of their son. Adam is going to play ground for playing and learning

skills as he is growing. John should not misbehave with his wife and give permission to continue
her job so that they can live happily and Adam will get love of both father as well as mother.
4. BACKGROUND AND ISSUES
Children’s court is beneficial because it is taking decision in favour of party who is suffering
and provide them all the facilities which is necessary for them. It also helps in providing
protection from people who are misbehaving and protect rights. It is important that all the details
should be collected and it will help in protecting rights of person who is suffering. It is important
that evidences should be gathered and some interviews should be recorded in which issues which
is faced by suffering party and necessary steps should be taken by children court so that Tabitha
and her son can spend good life, without fear and she should continue her job (Richards, Bartels
& Bolitho (2017)). In the given case it has been noticed that Tabitha is doing job in supermarket
and she is having night job. John did not like that she is doing late night job as their son is small
and she should give time to Adam. John is misbehaving with his wife because she is not listening
to him and doing job. This behaviour of John is not liked by Tabitha and this is not safe for
Adam because he is small and he should learn good things. Tabitha is knowing her
responsibilities towards her son and trying to give all the facilities which is necessary for his
growth.
Tabitha should take help of children court and they will collect all the details and take strict
actions against John because it is a crime that a man is misbehaving with his wife and child is not
safe. At this small age Adam should get proper education and learn new things so that he can get
good opportunities in future. If Tabitha is handling her job as well as her son then John should
not have any problem and if both will earn then it is beneficial for their future. So, from the case
it has been noticed that court should take proper decision and provide essential facilities to
Tabitha so that she can give proper care to children. It is the responsibility of court to gather all
the details and collect relevant information which is related to case. Tabitha wants that she
should do job and giving proper care to her children. When proper evidences are collected then it
is easy for judge to take decision and this will help Tabitha in getting her rights and good
education can be provided to Adam so he will get good opportunities in future (Saunders,
Lansdell & Frederick, (2020)).

5. RELEVANT INFORMATION
Relevant information can be refer to as collecting details which is related to the case so that
proper decision can be taken and it will help party in living their life safely. In the given case,
evidences should be collected so that in court it can be prove that John is misbehaving with
Tabitha and it will be easy for judge to take decision. It is essential that a person should gather
all the information which is required in reaching to a particular decision and no one have to
suffer (Sheehan (2020)). It is clear from the case that John did not like Tabitha’s job as she is
doing night job in the supermarket.
For protecting Tabitha and her son I will collect relevant details from her house and talk
with John that why he is misbehaving with his wife. Instead of torching her they both should take
care of Adam and try to provide him a better life and live happily together. I will try to solve
issues between them and take Tabitha and her son to safe place so that John cannot harm them or
they will not be injured. It is the responsibility of every citizen to help someone and take care of
them. This issue should be discussed in court and then judge will decide what to do. I will try my
best that Tabitha should get all the facilities and she should not take any decision in pressure or
stress (Brown, (2019)). In this case Tabitha is correct as she is trying to give all the facilities to
her son and taking care of him so that he can get proper education and will not face any problem
in future. She want that John should support him and they both will earn money. Tabitha is
having the ability to work in night and also handle hers son, playing with Adam and best care is
given to him. She can file a case against John on physical violence because he is not giving good
treatment to Tabitha and this behaviour is not tolerable.
6. CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it can be concluded that, children court sis useful as it helps in
protecting rights of women and children. When a person proves that other person is misbehaving
with her so it is the duty of court to take decisions regarding safety of women. In the case it has
been noticed that John is misbehaving with his wife and they are having a four year old children.
John should talk with his wife politely and make her realise that her nigh job is not safe and
Adam is not getting proper attention and care. For his bright future it is necessary that they
should understand each other and give him good life. Adam should get proper education and get

good opportunities in future. John and Tabitha should talk and solve the issues because it is not
good that they are fighting and this is the learning stage of Adam. There are four type of
complexity of intimate partner violence i.e., physical, sexual, stalking and psychological
aggression. Physical violence theory can be applied because John is misbehaving with his wife
and it is important to take help from court because they can help Tabitha from protecting her.
