Taking a Transformative Approach for Parent Education
This chapter is important for the readers because the chapter ill introduce the concepts
of the parental education itself. The concepts of the parental education is important in this
case because it would allow the parents to learn about the various problems which are being
faced by the children in the school. In this case, it must be said that the parental education is
indeed important because it would allow the teachers to explain in better manner the
problems that the children are facing in the schools itself. Therefore, it can be said that the
teachers must make adequate measures for the purpose of the parental itself. This is why the
parental education is considered to be very important in the present times.
“In simple terms, transformative education is when two or more people come together,
and through their interactions, are both changed for the better.”
The author of the chapter has used this quote to explain the importance of the
transformative education in the life of the individuals. The author of the chapter states the fact
that this type of education can help the individuals because they would get to learn a lot form
each other. Thus, the transformative education can be used to help the individuals learn from
each other.
I find this quote to be important because it will allow the people of the society to learn
about the importance of the parental education. If two people, having children of their own
comes together, they will get to know about the various ways in they can be a better parent
for their child. There lies the importance of the transformative education for the people.

Including Families in the Classroom or Center
This chapter is all about informing the readers about the various wats in which the
families can be included into the centres and in the classrooms as well. This means that the
teachers will need to determine for themselves various ways in which the parents can be
included in the classrooms and in the centres as well.

The chapter focuses on the important role that the families can play for the children in
the classroom. The parents can be part of the learning experience of their children. In addition
to this, they would be able to identify any kind of problems their children might be facing in
the classroom. Hence, they can help their children to overcome such problems if they find
any.
I find this part to be interesting because it would allow the readers to understand the
various ways in which the parents can be used as volunteers in the classrooms by the teachers
themselves itself. The parents and the teachers both can play an important role in helping the
child to overcome their problems.

Focusing on Fathers and Grandfathers
This is the chapter which would focus on the subject matter of the readers focusing on
the fathers and the grandfathers in the family in which they belong from. This would allow
the readers to understand the behaviour of their fathers and their grandfathers to understand
why the family members behave in a particular manner etc.

This is the most important quote in the chapter it reflects the conditions of the fathers
and the grandfathers. The main reason for this is because of their children working. Since the
children work, they do not get enough time to look after their fathers and grandfathers,
leading to them being neglected in the family.
I feel that this line is important because it would help the readers to understand the
various ways in which the behaviour of the parents and that of the grandparents have been
passed down to their generations itself. This would also help them to understand the various
ways they can study such behaviours themselves.
