Secondly, A quest for independence involve definite sense of not need other people for
help, not even parents then an individual feel to be capable enough to do everything by their own
without support of anytime in their life. Similarly, during my teenage, I felt that it is possible for
me to face whole world alone through conducting every tasks of my life by own efforts.
However, independence can be considered as essential ability by which an individual gain
confidence to put efforts in correct direction for achieving better outcomes. It has been analysed

make new friends which may or may not be good for me but impact on my life. Many of people
meet on social media were fake and not liable to remain in touch as I felt uncomfortable when
they talk to me which results in my silence behaviour. My mother analyse the situation and talk
to me in respect of make me learn that it is must to make friends only those people on social

it has been analysed that I was Become sensitive or self-consciousness due to maintaining image
amongst society and teenage self esteem also linked with my looks is my beliefs at that time.

front of people. Today, I feel that my attempt should not harm anyone and remain secure from
others but thinking of another person about will not much hurt me.
The above changes summarise that I have faced several problems from my teenage to

TASK 2
Apply each style of parenting for socialisation
The parenting can be described as procedure of supporting and promoting emotional,
physical, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. It include
great deal of consistency and routine in order provide children a sense of control. Parenting is
significant as it make a child responsible and caring adults of society. However, it is necessary
for parents to develop appropriate parenting skills and utilise more effective as well as efficient
parenting styles on respect socialising the kid. There are various styles of parenting from which
most suitable one can be selected for implementing to make child capable to become acceptable
person in society (Tay and et. al., 2017).
Parenting styles can be classified into various categories including Authoritarian,
Authoritative, Permissive and Neglective from which more appropriate can be adopted by
parents to support their child. However, good parenting is important as it focus on developing
independence in children as the redundancy becomes aims for parents. It is important to select
parenting style that considers age and stage of development. There are several parenting styles
which are given below. Firstly, Authoritarian Parenting Style consist the approach of remain
disciplinarians parents in order to care and support their children to gain bright future for them. It
include to utilise strict styles of discipline along with small negotiation possible where the fact of
punishment is common. However, the communication is common way from parent to child and
rules applied were not usually explained to them. Parents having authoritarian style can be
considered as typically less nurturing and expectations are high with limited flexibility. Being a

parent, I can apply this parenting style as it is beneficial to make child disciplined which
facilitate to protect them from attempting wring aspects.
Secondly, Authoritative Parenting Style can be described about reasonable and
nurturing parents as they set high expectations in cedar manner. It include developed children
with self-disciplined and they think for themselves as this style can consider to be more
beneficial for children (Fineman, 2014). However, it consist clear disciplinary rules, frequent
communication and appropriate to understanding level of child. Meanwhile, I can adopt
authoritative parenting style because it is suitable for children and they will become comfortable
to learn different aspects of life which is more favourable for my child.
Thirdly, Permissive Parenting Style refers to indulgent parents who provide permission
easily to children for whatever they want to do along with giving limited guidance or direction to
them. It can be considered that friendly bond has been established between their parents and
children. However, permissive style involve less strictness and rules with an open
communication and let children deciding for themselves besides of giving direction. I can adopt
permissive style in order to socialise my child as they can decide by themselves to become a
valuable and acceptable person in society.
At the other hand, Neglective Parenting Styles consist the criteria in which parents
provide a lot of freedom to them and usually stay out of their way (Stewart, 2014). Sometimes, it
is observed that few of parents prefer to make conscious decisions but rest of other are not much
interested in parenting. Being parent, this style can be applied by me to give proper freedom to
my child as they will not feel bounded and make their own decisions of life.
From the above discussion, it has been concluded that different types of parents adopt
one suitable parenting style according to their mind set and skills. The Authoritative Parenting
Style ca be considered as more appropriate in order to make child disciplined and protect them
from wrong attempts while socialising them properly.
CONCLUSION
The above report has been summarised that family is very important in life of an
individual as they support in every critical situation. There re various negative incidents like
accidents, injuries, health problems and many more which can be overcome with help of family
members. However, it consist various emotional and social changes from teenage to adulthood

which can be solved by support of family members. Moreover, suitable parenting styles should
