INTRODUCTION
1.Vulnerability Among child, young people and families lead to various risks which involves the
lack of diet, poor housing, due to this people are seen as involve in crimes improper social
behaviour. Sheffield and Bradford study has shown the example of vulnerability where family
members are suffering as parents were in criminal activities.
2.Lack of concern, education and improper guidance, negative environment in community lead
to such vulnerability. As per the 1st case study where the family members are bridget, john,
jayden and Erin, it is seen that all children are at risk of physical abuse and also there is a history
of domestic violence in family It is all because of parent’s less concern and lack of education in
them are the reason behind their vulnerable position. The factors have shown that in this case
study John has history of offending since he was child thus negative environment and lack of
education lead john to do crimes and domestic violence, which cannot be seen easily in average
family.
Case study:
1. In case study one all family members are suffering because of their bad attitudes as john
has criminal history and children are involved in physical school, they don’t attend
school. It is found that society have major influence over the person’s activity,
surrounding also have impact over person’s behaviour. As per the second case study
where Julie was into criminal activities which lead her children to involve in offending
activities. It’s all because of nurturing environment as both john and Julie were not able
to go school and growing in poverty lead them to follow negative direction whose
influence is clearly seen on their family members.
2. As per the case study 3 which is from Lancashire, it is clearly seen that both mothers in
families are irresponsible also Daniel who is carol’s son has criminal records which is
negatively influencing his cousin simon who is son of Debbie. Thus it shows the higher
level of the vulnerability as two families are affected badly because of one person’s
behaviour. As daniel’s siblings Abigail and Kerry also showing the sign of their brother’s
misbehaviour, they are at high risk as they do not show interest in education. Thus both

families are at major risk. If daniel’s behaviour does not improve then it will be difficult
for both families to survive.
ANALYSIS
1. Process of intervention refer to the carefully done process where the consultant involves
in order to support victims. In Bradford case study, local authority have taken into care of
the victim family, they support the family to improve their behaviour and to become
normal citizen otherwise they will have to face situation where they might evicted from
their current home. Authority have given them a short term tenancy and the compliances
with the family’s mediation plan was written according to the needs in tenancy. Also
family member Julie who was into the drug cases were sent to local drug supporter, they
educated them and change her behaviour, thus all these activities help her to quit all
criminal activities. Current policies are related to behavioural intervention policy which
involves the education, continuous clinical education. in context with the case study,
social care agencies help Julie to change her behaviour and become responsible also they
link Sonia to nurturing program so that she’ll better took care of children.
2. Regarding all case study, it is found that every family is suffering from serious problem,
due to lack of education and other factors affecting the social behaviour of every family
member. As family’s behaviour towards other societal members are not bearable. Thus
local authority has come forwards to support the families and provide them services so
that they stopped their misbehaviour. It is found that social care agencies have taken the
preventive measure to support the families and to make them responsible towards their
life. As for the Sheffield case study Social care have supported the family they continue
contacting john even in jail and also train other family members to quit all bad habits. It
is found that john has also changed his behaviour thus in such case no longer social
services are required.
3. Multidisciplinary team helps in organising and managing the other health care activities
so that it will meet the requirement of service user. Behavioural intervention policy

involves the task designing and setting all expectation so that service user can follow it to
improvise their behaviour. As for the Lancashire case study, social service provider have
proceeded with the multidisciplinary action to meet the needs of the family members. As
with the policy, they can easily set the tasks and activity so that family members can
perform accordingly. It will helpful in changing the attitude of the family member so that
they stopped all their vulnerable behaviour.
EVALUATION
1. For Sheffield case study, social services have been provided for only one year which also
brings the lost of positive changes. But this process can be continued for almost two years
so that all the family members will completely changes their behaviour. For the Bradford
case study, social services which is provided to family plays an significant role as all
family members are seen as concern and responsible, but one member tom was still into
the offending team, in such it is important for the social service provider to conduct
different activities and tries to indulge tom into other activities, it will help him to quit the
offending team.
2. In Sheffield case study there is a history of domestic violence which impact the behaviour
of every family member. As the health care team have provided services to the family for
almost one year, which also seen as changing behaviour of the family members as
children started their education and also john has changed his behaviour. Social care
provider can begin to set the individual goals first as it will help them in providing
services rapidly. They can begin to use monitoring devices as to track the activity of the
family members it will help them in examining their behaviour so that better solution can
be provided.
