2INTERFACE USEABILITY
Introduction
This application is designed for the small farm shop in a locality. The application that is
designed will fulfill the requirement of the user as well as will also increase the selling process of
the farm. The farm sells products like vegetables, food items, wine, and gift items. The user can
select the items they want to buy from the application site of the shop and can order them online
without going to the shop (Alhamazani et al., 2015). The shop will get the items selected by the
user to their selected address. The user can also book a restaurant via the application. The user
can book the restaurant for some hours or can even book a restaurant for a function or parties that
users wants to organize. With this application the user will get a friendly experience and the
application can guide the user easily.
Discussion
Target Users- The target users for the farm shop applications are the local people of that
particular area. The people can be provided with the service of all items of grocery and other
projects and can even book a restaurant in the local area where the user stay (Braun & Menth,
2014). The user mainly in the local area is targeted for using the application. The targeted user
are mainly localized because the user can get service easily and effectively when they need for
service.
Design Principles with the Component Design in the Application- The mail goal of
the application is to provide the user an interface that will help them to fetch help from the
application. The user will get the service of delivery of food products, grocery items, as well as
clothing from the farm application (Coronel & Morris, 2016). The user can also avail the service

of a restaurant in that local area. If the user wants, the user can avail the service of booking a
restaurant through this application.
Usability Goals with the Component Design in the Application- To make the interface
attractive, the design is done with proper spacing and with proper alignments. More the design
will be attractive, mores customer will use the application. Visual interface have always plays an
important role in management of customer (Endsley, 2016). User accessibility should be kept in
minds so that the customers get attracted to the design of the application. The satisfaction of the
customer is the main motive of the developers.
User Experience Goals with the Component Design in the Application - The main
page of the application consist of the home page that shows many options for the user. The user
can login from the page, home page that shows the product, a product button that shows all the
products that are available in the local shop, there is a delivery option where the user can select
the location of the user by detecting automatic location detector. When the user clicks on login
page, the user will be directed to ta page from where the user can login via Facebook or via
Gmail. There is a registration page or the sign up page where the customer can sign up using
Facebook or Gmail or can enter their details manually (Bracha & Ungar, 2015). Another page
shows user profile, where the users can get discount if they are loyal to their service and can also
get special offers for the for the users. In the product page, the user can select the item or the
product they want to buy from the local shop. There are many categories of product. In the
product order page, the people can view all the products that are added in the cart. The cart page
shows the total amount payable for all the items selected. And finally the payment is made by
selecting a payment mode from the page. The location of the delivery can detect the location of

the user for home delivery or the user can also put the address manually in the location. Another
option that the user gets is to book a restaurant near by clicking on the restaurant button.
Benefits and Issues of the Interface- The design that is developed should show the
pages with attractive pictures as well as should have the alignment properly done. A good
interface always attracts customer. So, to make the design attractive, the developer should design
the pages carefully. The issues that arise with the interface design is that the user needs internet
connection for using the application. This is the disadvantage that the user faces while using the
application.
Considered as the Best Solution- According to me, the application should also have the
option to cancel the order or to cancel a booing for the restaurant. The design that is mode does
not have such possibilities (Damborsky & Brezovsky, 2015). This application is considered to be
the best application for the case study of the local farm shop because this application will fulfill
the need of the shop as well as the customers can get their products delivered to their homes.
Both the need of the customer and the shopkeeper is fulfilled by implementing this application.
Conclusion
From this assignment, the details of the application that is made for a small farm shop can
be studied in details. The user interface of the application is described clearly with the user
experience while using the application are also detailed in this assignment. There are negative as
well as positive influences of the application that are clearly stated in this assignment.
