Discuss the impacts of the Economic Growth Model on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) of
environment, economics, and equity
The impact of the Economic Growth Model on the TBL of the economy is that it helps in
measuring several things like Profit, wages, taxes, employment, revenue per sector, etc. The top
line helps in measuring the profit by analyzing the income statement of the fashion company. the
bottom line helps in evaluating the net income of the company by subtracting the revenues from
the cost of goods sold, overhead and taxes (Xia, et al., 2015). The environment, equity, and
social performance have improved through the impact of the TBL as it helps in focusing on
social care, health, and wellbeing, energy consumption, natural resource consumption, etc.
What do you believe are new and improved ways to measure success for a business using
the Triple Bottom Line?
KPIs are the new improved ways that help in measuring the business using the Triple
Bottom Line. The TBL covers the three parts which are environmental, social and financial
aspects so it helps in evaluating the performance of the company by analyzing the profits and
also bearable and viable the planet and people (Alhaddi, 2015). KPI provides the benchmark to
the fashion company and the other companies through which they can measure their current
performance and can reduce the chance of human error by making effective planning decisions.
And- how can these ways be measured?
Using the matrix of the KPIs, the future of the fashion market is measured and their
sustainability is also evaluated. The three matrix which can be made to the Triple Bottom Line
are Profits, People, and the planet which helps in enhancing the brand value of the fashion
company in the future (Sarkis and Dhavale, 2015). It also helps in improving the stakeholder’s
relation and increase the customer’s satisfaction and loyalty through which the future of the
fashion company can become stable. The major focus has been made to the planet line so in this
matrix the fashion company reduced the emission levels and improves the use of natural
resources.

Explain two TBL practices for each sphere of the TBL (total 6) and then how each can be
measured, so you will know if you are succeeding in reversing anthropogenic impacts.
Economic measures: This TBL practice deals with the bottom line variables and the
flow of money. It can be measured through the financial aspects of the company like the income
statement and the financial statement of the fashion company. It includes several spheres like job
growth of the company, personal income, employment distribution by sector, etc. (Ivanka, et al.,
2015). The sustainability can be measured using the TBL concept and helps in evaluating the
amount of taxes paid in the company. The performance can be tracked year to year so that future
success can be evaluated.
Environmental measures: It is an important TBL practice that does the measurement of
natural resources and helps in evaluating the future potential viability of the company. The
company is succeeding by evaluating the excess nutrient in the environment, electricity
consumption, sculpture dioxide, fossil fuel consumption, etc. The fashion industry has to manage
fewer natural resources by managing and reporting the waste and emissions of the environment.
The success of the company can be evaluated by reducing waste and operating the green policies
in the company.
