imitating more developed people to a great extent. Due to this the Indians imitate the eating
habits as well of the people living in the developed countries.
In the views of Khongrangjem and et.al (2018) the concept of fast food consumption is
very new and becoming common among the Indians. This is majorly pertaining to the fact that
the Indians get attracted towards the other trends very easily and this has a great impact over the
living pattern of the people as well. This is majorly because of the reason that when the people
see other people using the new thing then they also gets attracted towards the use of that same
thing. In the similar manner the Indians saw the foreign people using the concept of fast food and
this attracted the people of India as well to use the concept of fast food consumption.
Theme 2: Recent trends going on in the fast food consumption in Indian markets.
In the thinking of Keshari and Mishra (2016) the major trend going on in the
consumption of fast food in the Indian economy is among the young mass of the country. This is
majorly because of the reason that when the younger people look at the other people and if they
find some interesting thing then they gets attracted towards it and wants to use the same thing.
For instance, if a person goes in a restaurant then many a time the person orders the same dish
which the other person on the next table is having. This is majorly because of the reason that
when we see the thing being eaten by the other person, then the person tends to think that the
thing is very famous and is in trend and the person orders the same thing. Even the person is not
having the knowledge relating to the dish but as they have seen it on the other table next to them
so they orders the dish without thinking much.
Janssen and et.al (2018) states that with this incident it is evident that the people try to
imitate what is happening next to them. Thus, this illustrate that what the person sees the other
they also try to imitate the other people and this makes the people more prone to work in
accordance with the latest trend going on in the market. In addition to this the major trend is the
popularity of the fast food among the people. This is majorly because of the reason that the
people lives in a global world and the world full of technology which connects the whole world
with just a click of button. Also, the use of the social media is a latest trend in the use and
consumption of the fast food among the Indians. This is majorly because of the reason that if
anything is trending over the social media then the person is very much attracted towards the use
of that thing or the dish only. Thus, the social media marketing of the restaurant and the hotels is
habits as well of the people living in the developed countries.

consumption of the fast food among the Indians. This is majorly because of the reason that if
anything is trending over the social media then the person is very much attracted towards the use
of that thing or the dish only. Thus, the social media marketing of the restaurant and the hotels is

also a great trend in attracting the consumer towards the consumption of the fast food to a great
level.
On the other side Rathi, Riddell and Worsley (2017) argues that the major trend in the
increasing trend of the fast food is that in the recent highly developed era the most of family
structure is of nuclear family where there are only parents and child. Thus, because of this reason
that people are not wishing to cook food and they prefer to go out and have the fast food and
other junk food and this increases the consumption level of the fast food. The another major
reason behind this is that in most of the nuclear families both the parents are working and to save
the time most of the people prefer to go out for the food in the evening and because of this the
consumption of the fast food has increased.
Theme 3: Negative aspect relating to the consumption of the fast food on the health of Indian
population.
On the analysis of the different secondary sources Mohammadbeigi and et.al (2018)
states that the excess of fast food consumption is bad for the health of the person living in India.
This is majorly because of the reason that the excess of the fast food is dangerous for the health
of the people. This is majorly because of the reason that when the people eat fast and junk food
then it might be possible that the quality of the food is not good and this affects the health and
the stability of the person. This is necessary for the person to have proper consumption of the fast
food and that to in limit only. This is essential as excess of fast food consumption mainly result
in obesity of the person. This is pertaining to the fact that when the person eats too much of fast
food then the ingredients in the food is not good and this results in obesity among the people who
consume the fast food in too much excess.
On the other side Gupta, Kapil and Singh (2018) criticizes that the major negative impact
is that too much use of fast food reduces the nutrients in the body and the other necessary things
and proteins within the body. This has a great impact over the working of the company and this
majorly decreases the working capacity of the person. Thus, this will reduce the working
efficiency of the person and the ability of the person to work and the bones of the person will
also become weak as the fast food does not have the required amount of the necessary
ingredients and the nutrients which need to be presented in the body for the healthy lifestyle of
the person. Also, in addition to this the lack of the essential energy, nutrients and other thing will
result in the decrease in the mental health of the person as well. This is majorly because of the
level.

reason that if the necessary nutrients will not be present in the body then all the load and stress
will be on the brain of the person only. Thus, this will have a great impact over the working of
the mind of the person.
In addition to this Maheswari (2018) articulates that this more consumption of the fast
food among the people will increase the chances of the person in getting affected with the
diseases and this will affect the health of the person to a great extent. Thus, it is essential for the
person to limit the use and consumption of the fast food as this will directly impact the intestines
of the body. This is majorly because of the fact that the ingredients of the fast food are not much
good and because of this the major impact of consuming the fast food is over the digestive
system only. This is majorly because of the reason that the fast food includes the harder
ingredients which are tough to digest and because of this the major impact of this is on the
digestive system of the body and in turn this affects the whole body to a great extent.
METHODOLOGY
Research type- this is the most essential thing to be decided as the type of research is the
process through which the whole research is carried on. This is majorly of two different kinds
that is qualitative and quantitative type of research. The selection of the type of research in
advance is necessary as this will provide a guideline to the researcher as in which direction they
have to work. The qualitative research is the one which deals with the analysis of the attributes
relating to the topic of the research and on other side the quantitative research is the one which
includes consideration of numeric data and facts and figures for the consumption of the work.
For the current study the researcher has made use of the qualitative research as they want to
develop an insight relating to the basics of fast food consumption in India.
Approach of research- this is defined as the assumptions on which the whole research is
based. This is essential for the researcher to decide that with help of which approach the research
will be completed either inductive or deductive. The inductive is the one which includes making
of the aim and objective relating to the research topic, whereas the deductive is related to the
forming of hypothesis and its testing. For the purpose of completion of the research the
researcher has made use of the inductive approach and this is due to the reason that when the aim

Philosophy of research- the philosophy is defined as anything or the belief and the values
which underlies beneath the happening of any of the activity or event. Behind the selection of the
various methods of the research there is some or the other principles and the beliefs which are
necessary to be understood. The philosophy for the research is of two types that is interpretivism
and positivism. The interpretivism is the philosophy which includes the integration of the human
interest within the study and this makes the study more effective and efficient. On the contrary
the positivism is the philosophy which includes the study and analysis of the factual information
which is related to the research topic. For the completion of the present research on the fast food
consumption is the interpretivism and this is majorly because of the reason that this will build up
the interest of the people in the research.
Collection of research data- the data is the most essential aspect of the research as the
whole research is based over the data of the research. Thus, for this it is essential for the
researcher to collect all the relevant and reliable data so that the research gets successful. The
data can be collected from a variety of sources and the major source is the primary data source
and the secondary data source. The primary source is the one from which the information is
being collected for the first time and this can be collected with help of observation, survey
questionnaire and many other sources. On the other side the secondary source is the one which
includes the analysis and collection of data from the published sources like books, articles,
journals and other published data. For the completion of the present research the use of the
secondary source is preferred as this will assist the researcher in getting more valid and reliable
data which will assist in more good and effective research.
Analysis of the collected data- after the collection of the data the next major stage in the
research completion is the analysis of the data. This is essential because of the reason that if the
collected data will not be analysed then it is of no use and it will have no meaning in the
research. Thus, for this the analysis of the data is very crucial and necessary for the success of
the research. For the analysis of the data in the present research the use of thematic analysis was
made wherein the themes has been created and then the published data that is various types of
books, articles and journals and other type of other published sources of data. This is the most
better and clear type of analysis method as this will assist the researcher in getting more clear
and effective data relating to the fast food consumption patterns of Indians. The major benefit of

Ethical consideration- this is the most essential thing for the research to be completed in
effective manner as this will make sure that the research is completed in the ethical manner. This
is the most important thing for the successful completion of the research. The first and foremost
thing for ensuring the research to be completed in ethical manner is to get the research approval
and ethical approval form signed by the respondent. This is majorly because of the reason that in
the research the use of personal information being provided by the respondent is being used in
the research as well. In the present case the use of secondary information and data source is
being used and for this the most important ethical consideration is the use of the authentic and
reliable data relating to the research topic and the data must be used in proper manner. Thus, for
this the most important thing is the use of good and reliable sources of data for the secondary
information to be used relating to the research topic that is fast food consumption relating to the
Indian people.
Research limitation- this is also an essential part of the research as with everything there
are both the positive and negative side attached with the use of the thing. In the similar manner
the research also includes both the positive and the negative aspect relating to the research. The
major limitation of the research is that the budget of the research. This is the limitation as the
finance or the money is the most essential aspect through which the research needs to be
completed and this is very limited with the researcher. The money is the thing which is necessary
for the successful completion of the research and for this the most essential thing is proper
allocation of the money to all activities of research. Thus, with help of the proper allocation of
the money the researcher was able to manage the working and completion of the research in
successful manner. In addition to this another major limitation for the researcher was the time as
the time allocated to the research completion was very low. Thus, for this the researcher
managed the working of the research in effective and proper manner.

major limitation of the research is that the budget of the research. This is the limitation as the
finance or the money is the most essential aspect through which the research needs to be
completed and this is very limited with the researcher. The money is the thing which is necessary
for the successful completion of the research and for this the most essential thing is proper
allocation of the money to all activities of research. Thus, with help of the proper allocation of

analysis of the whole universe it was seen that the use of the fast food is being addicted among

the Indians by seeing the various trends and patterns of consumption in the foreign market and
the trends going on in the market of foreign countries and with this the research will not take
place in the effective manner. Along with this some of the authors are relating to the view that
fast food consumption of fast food in limit will not have much impact over the working of the
company. This is majorly because of the reason that when the company will make sure that
whether the fast food consumption is the use of the fast food for the families which assist then to

Theme 2- Trends among the Indians relating to the fast food consumption
Also, as per the views of various types of authors it is very essential for the researcher to have a
look at the various different types of trends which is undergoing in the consumption of the fast

evening and morning itself. This creates a negative impact over the consumption pattern of the
Indians. This is majorly because of the reason that when the people will consume the Indian food
the when she came out and this is no one in the neighbourhood. Also in addition to this the most
effective thing for this the analysing the pattern of the Indians as to how much they will have to
take into consideration the latest techniques of the people living in the other countries. This is
essential because of the reason that when the researcher will first analyse the need and the trends
among the consumer of the fast food and then analyse that whether the people are using the same
method of fast food as per the use of other foreign people or it is still using the same Indian
products only. The first and foremost trends as suggested by the most of the authors and scholars
are among the young mass of the company. This is majorly because of the reason that when the
habit is being used in the research or the study which is being applied in the same manner as the
private student doing and consuming the whole of the research in successful manner.
In the other side another major type of trend among the starters and men it is very low class
English and do not have watt of selling the goods and services of the company. This is majorly
because of the reason that when the person attached the fast food consumption and due to this the
most important thing is the use and consumptions of the use of fast food and the people are
copying it to a great extent. In addition to this the use of the marriage of engagement and the
wedding of her died. Thus, this calls Salmon Khan to enter in my territory and because of this it
is evident that the t is Onida on the other side includes some of the authors and ir is required to
manage the sales of the company so that the use fast food consumption is necessary.
