INTRODUCTION
The careful evaluation and examination of any performance or work is called as critical
analysis. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the topic, The global 'fast food' market and
its harmful effects on health or on society and present the responsibilities of common goods is
not being realises and purpose of addressing the challenges. Fast food is not good for health as it
very high in fat, cholesterol, calories and sodium that breeds many other health diseases which is
a biggest concern of Australia (Ireland, Chambers and Bunn, 2019).

Shared responsibilities for common good is not being realised.
Common good is a term that is used for the benefit or interest of all. It is true that people
are highly aware of their health and their common good but still people are highly attracted
towards eating of fast food. People knows that fast food is not at all good for the health as it is
causing serious health issues to people but still people are consuming (Kelly and et,al., 2016).
The demand of fast food industry is continuously increasing in Australia and the market share of
fast food businesses is also increasing because of consumption. Fast food has negatively
influence not only on the health of people but also on the economy and on ethics of the
community. There are various issues that are increasing with the consumption of fast food such
as increasing health issues, increasing threat of obesity, decreasing the life expectancy rates,
dental distress, short of breath, high cholesterol, weight gain, heart disease or stroke, acne,
headache, insulin resistance and other health issues. With the dawn of fast food revolution,
burgers and pizzas have been ruling the taste buds of people at the local level and at the global
level.
These are the growing health challenges that is also influencing the economic conditions
of the nation. But people in Australia and other country's like UK, China, India are highly
consuming fast food. They are not aware of there health and risking their life. Just because of
high consumption, competition in food industry is also rising in the economy. It is fact that
human dignity can only be protected if all human rights are protected and responsibilities of all
human being are met (Ruckert and et.al., 2017). All people has a responsibility and duty in order
to aid fulfil these rights for one another and for communities. Similarly, food industry should

share responsibilities for common good for all the people and society. For example, Subway and
McDonald have added the healthy items in their menu to address some health issues.
Ways to address the challenges in professional community, locally and globally.
The growing health issues are continuously increasing in the Australian economy and it is
very important to overcome these challenges because it is breeding like bushes in the forest.
Organising Campaign for healthy Eating, this is also one of the best way to overcome
the issues prevailing in Australia. By organising campaign in the community, people get
attracted and participate to garb deep knowledge about the consumption of junk food. There are
some campaigns like Tryfor5. It is one of the biggest campaign that Australian government in
annually. This campaign is powered by Nutrition Australia. In these programmes, organiser will
encourage increasing the consumption of green vegetables to the recommended five serves per
day. As per the latest report, there were only 4 percent of people living in Australia eat
vegetables per day (Smith and et.al., 2019). So, it is very important to make people aware
through campaigns and programmes on healthy living and eating healthy diet. These
programmes inspire people to stop consuming unhealthy food and start eating health and green
vegetables. In addition to this, government has also taken initiative for healthy living like Meat
& Livestock Australia (MLA), they provide diet guidelines to people living in Australia so that
they can balance in diet.
According to the Catholic Social Teaching CST principles, it is very important to
centres the human dignity. The health of people should not be compromise in any concern.
Everyone should have capability to intake healthy food. As per this principle, there must be
authentic development in the community so that the growing health issues cam be addressed or
overcome them as soon as possible. In addition to this, it is also very important as per this
principle that every person must have enough access to the resources and good of the community
so that they can completely as well as easily fulfils the needs of life. It is true that the common
good is reached when people work together in order to bring improvement in the well-being of
people in the society and wider world (Rankin, 2017).
Education is another way to initiate people living healthy diet and eating green
vegetables and it is one of the best way to address the challenges of highly consumption of food
in professional community, locally and globally. Education plays a crucial role in human right as

well as plays key role in the development of human, social and economic. Schools should take
initiative and make the students aware about the importance of green vegetables and fruits. They
should also know the causes of chronic diseases which are increasing with the consumption of
junk food (Janssen, 2018). Good teachers and professors are very important for quality of
education and quality of education do not only include books reading and all that, it must include
teaching of healthy living.
Individual awareness is another way to overcome and address the challenges in
professional community, locally and globally. If one have to live healthy he/she has to make
efforts to do so because it is not possible to achieve the desire goals of life without individual
awareness. Individual should consumer more protein as it reduces the appetite as well as keep
person from excessive eating. In addition to this, planning of meal is another way to overcome
excessive eating of junk food and living healthy live (Mialon and et.al., 2016). Meal planning
reduces the consumption of unhealthy food over time. Moreover, individual awareness also
include daily physical exercise as it also solve many health issues of the body and keep the body
always fit and fine.
Thus, from al the above solution, Australian government and citizen of county can solve
the issues breeding in the country at both local and community level.
CONCLUSION
From the above analysis, it has been concluded that increasing health issues because of
high consumption of junk food is creating serious concern for Australian government. Further, it
has been summarised that people realising internally that consumption of junk food is not good
but still people are eating without caring about their health. It is very important to have self-
awareness about the health because individual awareness is one of the best way to overcome and
stop the health issues. Moreover, education is another best way to overcome the health
challenges as if students are aware it will positively influence their health. Moreover, individual
awareness is another way to overcome the challenges and allows people to keep the body healthy
and far from breeding of diseases.
