Report
Introduction
The complete FastFit system is analyzed in the report. Full functionality, features that
are required in the new FastFit system are being shown in the report. The features and
functionality of FastFit is being described by the data modeling technique. Different
types of methods are used for different purposes like ER diagram, DFD etc.
Data Flow Diagrams show the system functionality. It shows which process will work
after another. It is very helpful to develop the project according to DFD. Similarly ER
diagrams show the database structure. All entities and their attributes give detail about
database relations and the relationship among entities is also shown by the ER
diagram.
All business cases, important methods, TCO, cost and schedule analyses all are being
described in the report.
FastFit System Justification
The FastFit system is required because of the following reason-
- Allow the customer to book tickets online. In this the customer can book the
ticket online. He does not need to be in queue to book tickets. It is the major
fact to build the FastFit system. every user now use internet and he wants to do
online everything. To compete in the market, it is necessary to take the
business on the online platform.
- If lesson is not available on preffered date, the system will send notification
and will offer the requested lessons on another dates. Sometimes the lesson is
full on the dates provided by the customer, then the system will check another
dates and give the option to the customer to choose the same lesson for
another dates.
- Allow the staff of FastFit to generate reports like monthly sales report etc. The
administrator wants to see the summary most of time and it is not faesible that
he checks manually. Therefore the option to generate reports will be given to
the employees. It is very useful feature in the FastFit project.
- System will send notification regarding booking status of customers. After
booking, the booking status will be sent to the customers and the customer can
see the status themselves alos.
- Need storage of data for future use in case of data loss. It is very important
feature that the data will not lost. It will be saved permanently.

Business Case and Justification
Currently the system is manual and the main goal of the FastFit to give an online
platform to its customers. Today no one wants to stay in queue for long time to book
the tickets etc.
Everything will be online after implementing the FastFit system. Currently the system
is manual. Following features that are required in the FastFit to build-
- Online booking
- Online booking confirmation received
- Send online notification to customers regarding booking status etc..
- Report generation by FastFit staff members.
Project Scope
These are the tasks which are coming under the scope of the project like below-
- First set the goal of the project. It is the main and most important task before
start on any project. If the objective is not clear, it is not possible to make a
good system.
- Make a list of all important and necessary required features or functions in the
project.
- Make a simple and good looking layout structure of all pages. The layout
should be simple and attractive as the design of the pages will depend upon the
layout only.
- Prepare a good team of developers who will design the project.
- Make the system will the functionalities that are mentioned.
- Do system testing after completing the project.
- After system host the project to make live project and to use by users.
Cost and Schedule Analysis
The cost and schedule analysis shows the estimated time and cost of the project. The
development team work according to the given deadlines and tries to manage the
work by the deadline. It is very important and necessary task in every project
development. In big projects it is very much required as it helps to deliver the project
on time.
The cost and schedule analysis can be built in different software’s. MS project is one
of the best software to prepare cost and schedule analysis and therefore for the FastFit
system it is built in MS project which is showing the deadline along with estimated
cost of the project.

Major Functions
These are the major functions which are necessary to implement into the FastFit
project-
- Create new customer.
- Book lessons online.
- Check availability of customer booking.
- Notify if not available.
- Prepare different reports for the management.
All the above mentioned functions are important and necessary to implement into the
FastFit system.
TCO
The TCO is the task that warns the owners of the project about actual cost that may be
hidden at this time. It may occur in the future and may disturb the whole budget of the
project. There are so many areas in which the project cost can be increased and it may
alert the administrators about unwanted cost. (Investing Answers (2018)
Following figure is showing the TCO of the FastFit project-

Entity Relationship Diagram
ER diagram shows entities and their attributes. It plays major role to understand the
entire database. The relation between entities can be depicted by ER diagram very
easily. After seeing the ER diagram, the database implementation becomes very easy
as it is the base of the database design.

Conclusion
The report is summarizing the FastFit system. The complete system is showing in the
report different methodologies like ER diagram, DFD etc.
ER diagram is showing the entities and their attributes that are necessary to
implement the database.
DFD is showing the flow of process. It is used to understand the working of the
project.
The project schedule and cost analysis is also very helpful to understand the project
cost and duration. It is the best way to show the time duration of each task.
The TCO is very helpful to get the idea about the hidden cost that may occur in the
future.
In this way, the report is showing everything that is necessary for the FastFit project. All
important aspects of the project are discussed in the report.
