Henri Fayol, who was French mining engineering executive, director & author of mines. He
developed theories and concept related to administration which are help his colleagues in order
to provide management thoughts. Major publication is in 1930 as industrial and general
administration and in 1949 general and industrial management.

Henri Fayol was one of the first comprehensive statements of general theory in order to provide
the benefit for management. Also, he has proposed more than six type of organisational activity
which are also include management as one of the important aspect for any business so that he
also proposed five primary function of management and fourteen principles of management.
There are different types of organisational activities which are undertaken into six types which
are related to security activities¸ technical activities, managerial activities, commercial activities,
financial activities. Along with this, there are different functions of management according to his
original work which are based on controlling, directing and other functions are planning,
organisation, commanding, co-ordinating, controlling, forecasting etc. on the basis of control
function it is necessary to focus more on sense and manager that must be help manager in order
to receive feedback as well as help to make necessary adjustments that are help for analyse the
deviations (Bhandari, 2020). Then, scholar of management is necessary for directing and

because all his theories were discovered before 1900s, where there must important things is to
