Many citizens have developed the feeling of being disengaged from government.
These voters perceive the association as single-way that is government “takes” in the taxation
system as well as by imposing rules as well as regulations on the citizens; however it does not
“give.” However, the truth is, our government and “we, the people” do not depend on a single
connection, but are excessively reliant on each other (Usa.gov).The following essay will
provide a reflective analysis of the role of government in my life, ways in which the Federal
Government impacts my daily life and how the Federal Government will be making changes
in my life hypothetically.
The federal government plays an immense vital role in my daily life. It does not
impact my life in a negative or in a destructive or threatening way. While the government
depends on its citizens for income, the citizens rely on government to attain security as well
as services (Simonsen). An effective government is not only a government that is a referee
but also acts as an architect for the country and its people (Pryor Jr). As a citizen of the
United States, I ascertain that the American government enables me as a citizen to improve
myself in every possible way by means of education, through proper infrastructure, housing
and roadways, and delivering basic services and telecommunication for further development
in relation to education. Citizens cannot win any major fight regarding economy, healthcare,
and civil rights, for the environment and defend the success unless the nation has an effectual,
well-capitalised inclusive as well as responsive government. Furthermore, the government is
influencing my daily life by taking necessary actions on social issues like racism, educational
inequality, substance abuse, child abuse. Most importantly, the US government provides
every its citizens with public education is available to every child. I suffer from any kind of
illness; I do not have to provide any charges.
The federal government offers significant employment services in order to maintain
their strong financial system (Usa.gov). Imagine if President Obama was not capable of

implementing the Affordable Care Act accepted into law in his first two years and then and
there shut down the regime after the 2010 election (Simonsen). Furthermore, the government

to my understanding, Federal government as a responsive one, not only retorts to the requests

I suppose that as citizens, we need to shift towards being pro-government and show our pro-
civil rights. Such a government that acts responsive, effective and inclusive. It is important to
note that such a government tends to structure the market as well as politics for all. However,
we do not have such a government at this point in time. Nevertheless, we must not surrender
on the ideal of a government for the people, of the people and by the people. Moreover, in
order to accomplish this I must oppose the resentment of the other citizens as well as the fear
which many are experience. Furthermore, it is important to endorse welfare entails more
than guaranteeing the supplies for continued existence, as well as lengthens to that which is
essential to partake efficiently in civic society as well as in the economy (Pryor Jr). To my
understanding, an effective government is not simply a well-resourced administration, but it
also functions as one that has the authority to legislate the will of the public.
In a hypothetical situation, amidst the pandemic of Coronavirus if I encounter
challenges of arranging grants and funds for my higher education, the federal government
will be considering a change direction of legislation as well as executive orders in order to
respond to students’ educational crisis. As per reports, President Trump also declared that the
federal administration will renounce interest outlays on student finances during the

emergency (Dilger). Moreover, the federal government of the U.S is repeatedly showing
interest on federal student finances for the predictable future. Although it does not imply that
expenses will be reduced, but it can be considered that the whole payment will go in the

To conclude, the federal government plays an immensely vital role in my daily life. It
does not impact my life in a negative or in a destructive or threatening way.
