The undertaken project deals with organizing and event. The name of the Project is
“Planning and Organizing a Grand Wedding”
2. Project Charter
Project charter is a formal document that is used to provide a brief idea of the objectives
and the deliverables of the project (Badewi, 2016). The business case for the undertaken project
are indicated as follows-
2.1. Strategic Reason of the Project
Wedding is huge event and required detailed planning. This project is associate with
undertaking a contract of planning and execution of a wedding party. All the aspects of wedding
including, the foods, decorations, dresses and guest will be looked after in this project.
2.2. Expected Profitability
The successful execution of this event is expected to provide a huge business benefit or
profitability. The payment will be based on the overall project budget that is set for the entire
wedding.
2.3. Desired Scope
The undertaken project of planning and organizing an event will incorporate the

5. Project Schedule

The budget estimated for the project includes the cost of all the resources who will be
working on the project for a duration of six months. Therefore, effective cost control of this
project is necessary. The cost control process involves management of the project budget to
ensure none of the task is delayed (Kerzner, 2017). Since the project is being executed in a
sequential manner, it is necessary to eliminate the causes of project delay to manage the project
cost (Meredith, Mantel Jr & Shafer, 2017). Along with that, a project supervisor is appointed to
look after planned execution of the project.
