Academic Background
Accounting and finance degrees gives the students combination of the background
and technical knowledge and the skills, which they requires as basis of their careers either in
the accounting profession or in wider commercial sector. The degrees provided by accounting
and finance conventions and technicalities that governs the way wealth is measured and the
way company behave. Although the subject accounting is viewed as emphasizing calculation
and computational skills, the current academic accounting and finance subject is far much
broader.
Finance Course at Post Graduate Level
In my thought, masters in the finance subject could be stepping stone to one’s careers.
Whatever be the economic climate, the experts in finance are always on demand worldwide
for the fields such as financial consultancy, securities firms, multinational companies, fund
management and banking. The post graduate on finance helps in providing knowledge that is
required for getting career in finance that one wants.
Knowledge or Skills picked from Studying Finance
There is no doubt that carving out of the high-fly career in the finance helps in
achieving more than good level of grades. In the today’s workplace that is fast-evolving,
finance professionals’ needs to demonstrate their skills from the razor-sharp ability of

Role of Finance Officer
My job role as finance officer includes providing the administrative and financial
support to the stakeholders, clients, colleagues of business. This role may attracts the
applicants keen for moving up the ladder of financial corporate, those with the ambitions of
being the manager of finance or even CFO someday. Financial officer reports to manager and
supports accounting and finance teams. The role of financial officer is that, which is required
to make interactions with the several departments internally.
Studying M.Phil. Finance
The things that inspires me to study MPhil Finance is that it will help in providing
strong academic background for the person like me who have opted for career in the finance.
It ideally suits me because I intend to continue to Ph.D. The programme of MPhil does not
requires the students for undertaking any type of training of research.
Aim for Achieving
I aspires to be able to impact the knowledge by lecturing. Being a lecturer, I can
impart the knowledge of finance subject to the students and inspires them for gaining skills to
perform job roles in future. Further, I think, for day-to-day work, lecturing is excellent job
that one can do such as program development, working with and teaching the students and
the other services.
