The concept of personal and professional development is
about something to improve oneself for performing and
understanding the job role along with making
improvements. This process helps in improving skills which
is continue throughout the working life. The PDP ensures
understanding and knowledge for developing the
understanding career area. The skills and knowledge are
developed of an individual for development of career.

Meaning of professional field
The professional field is activity which needs of
completing both degree and enrolment which is eligible
for employment in business. This helps the person in
earning living from particular activity of professional by
giving understanding of education, knowledge, training
and skills in order to perform role with efficiency within
that profession.

Description of professional field
The Finance selected as field of profession which covers lot of
ground. It not only related to management of money but also with
procedure of acquiring funds which a individual needs different
skills and mindset. The source of money is requiring to manage
funds in finance filed that can be done personally, through banks
or corporate funds (Veloso, and et.al., 2019). There is need to
have acknowledgement of accounting principles and tactics for
investing and raising of capital.

The career path refers to job sequence which leads to career
goals in short-term and long-term. The group of jobs are
involved which needs similar skills. The change in
professional goals leads to alteration in career path of
individual (Bridges, and Bridges, 2019).

have degree which provides comprehensive understanding of
financial management, interpersonal skills and professional

taken for organization and individual to match their needs.
• Financial planning- The companies get help from planner in formulating strategies and secure future &
current financial stability.
• Financial analyst- It also has working in non-bank corporations for analysing the financial position of
company and budgetary plans are formulated. To pursue in this career Four-year degree in finance or a related
field; MBA, CFA certification, and applicable FINRA license are helpful.

There is requirement of strength for having career in field of finance which are as follows-

of financial analyst and becomes my strength.
• The strength of possessing accounting skill benefits me in tracking, recording and management of financial
transactions in effective way. The performing of financial modelling, clinician analysis can assists in career
path of investment banking and financial planning .
• The possessing of strong communication skill is my strength as it is needed in all career path of finance
whether it is financial analysis, investment banking or financial planning etc.

Challenges and Measure to over come
• In field of finance to pursue career path I face challenge of degree as some company wants to have master
degree for specific field of job role. By having further studies in professional field of finance I was capable to
overcome with this difficulty and got master degree along & diploma courses (Mashizume, and et.al., 2020).
• For working in any filed of finance job role whether it of financial planning or financial analyst the difficulty I
face was lack in some required skill. To overcome with this I start developing skills by studying and practician
more for specific job role.
• While following for the career path I face challenge in financial planning as it needs to concentrate on various
prospect which can be overcome by using the strength of accounting skills which assisted me in analysing of
financial modelling, investment growth.

Conclusion
From the above it is being concluded that individual gets help from personal and professional
development by identifying its career paths and goals. in resect to work the individuals are influenced
towards critical thinking. The skills and abilities person are developed for better working in
organisation with help of development and creating their interest in professional field of career path.
There is development in career path in field of finance which is foremost element in success and
failure of monitoring programs for accomplishing goals. with the help of personal and professional
development skills and competencies required in field of finance is enhance by acquiring knowledge
