Personal Profile
There are a number of skills present in me which will help me in order to successfully set
my career. Being finance major it is necessary for me to work on my analytical strengths. Along
with this my listening skills is also helping me successfully to understand coursework and
discuss it in a detailed format. Other than this various skill I incorporate include good
management skills, team work skills, presentation skills, communication skills etc. I believe in
diversity and make sure that I respect values and beliefs of other cultures along with mine. It is
necessary for an individual to be open minded and excepting all the cultures which will also help
one to learn new things. I possess an extrovert personality which helps me to successfully
communicate with others and deliver the information regarding same. Overtime I have also
developed strong leadership skills which are helping me to stand out and take leadership roles
while working in a team.
Reflection of strength Questionnaire
Strengths refer to potentials which are in hurry tent which influences thoughts, actions
and emotions in a person. It also helps in defining uniqueness of a person. While taking strength
questionnaire I developed a number of students present in me which are helping me in academic
career and will surely help me in my professional career as well. There are a number of strengths
such as courage, humility, perseverance and wisdom which are basic values I have inherited
from my culture. These trains are enabling me to successfully achieve all my goals and
objectives and also give respect to those working around me. The questionnaire also revealed a
number of academic strength which includes time management skills as I have successfully
developed all my projects and reports during my course in given time period. Along with this
written skills are another major strength of mine which have successfully help me to
communicate formally to all my mentors and faculty during my academic career.
Communication skills have successfully help me to communicate information and ideas in front
of a group and also develop good presentation skills. Listening skills have helped me to grab all
the information during lectures and also successfully understand others perspective and ideas.
Questionnaire I took was very accurate as it helped me in understanding various skills I possess

and also ensure that I am continuously working on those skills to develop it further. It is
necessary to keep working on skills and enhancing them as changing external environment
requires perfection in everything. Also competition at every level is increasing including
academic and professional which requires an individual to make sure that they are standing out
in competition with the help of skills they possess. Strength questionnaire was also effective
enough in revealing all those and realise strength which I need to develop more and work on
them continuously. This included analytical skill as being in a field of finance it is necessary for
an individual to have great analytical skills. Analytical skills show that a person is understanding
and interpreting both current and past performance along with making decisions regarding future
performance. There was also a number of financial analytical software which helps in creation of
reports and data in a speedy manner. While taking the questionnaire of strength I realised
financial analytics required a number of other skills and I need to work on those skills. However
in order to develop some of the skills professional help is also required as one cannot learn about
software on their own. The software is also helps in creation of various reports and data which
are presented through graphs. This makes it easy for the audience to understand the information
you are willing to convey. While taking this questionnaire I realise there are a number of and
realise skills and strengths which are needed to be resonated. Leadership skill is one of such skill
which is developed over time by practice and working in a group. Other than this various skills
which are usually unrealised are justice, courage, interest of learning, social and emotional
intelligence as well.
Future ambition and goal
There are a number of career options available for a finance major. This include
investment banking, corporate finance, public accounting, portfolio manager, stockbroker and so
on. I personally aim at working as an investment banker. Investment banker is required to
provide their clients with various financial services which may include proprietary trading and
trading of securities. It is a great career and the university will successfully allow me to study all
the required courses in order to become an investment banker. An investment banker also works
as a chartered financial analyst, certified Public accountant or a financial risk manager who will
help their client in successfully investing their savings so that profits can be generated for both of
them.
