This report analyzes financial services information systems, focusing on the cost analysis of three products: A, B, and C. Computation of the total costs for five years of Product A, Product B and Product C:
In order to compute the total costs for each of the above-mentioned products, it is
necessary to compute CAPEX and OPEX of each of the three products. The costs have been
computed by taking into consideration the number of end users from 100 to 1,000. The total
costs of the Product A, Product B and Product C are represented as follows:

Product A:

In case of Product A, the number of end-users varies from 100 to 1,000. For 100-300
users, the number of CPUs required has been 4, for 350-550 users, CPUs needed have been 8
and for 600-1,000 users, 10 CPUs are needed. Moreover, the bank has to incur certain
expenses like production recovery license, disaster recovery suite license, implementation
fees and CPU cost in the form of capital expenditure and maintenance fees, maintenance fees
for implementation and cost of CPU maintenance for Product A.

Product B:
For Product B, there is no requirement for CPUs; however, there would be a total of
50 super-users on all levels. The CAPEX expenses to be incurred include implementation
fees, initial license fee for end-users and initial license fee for super-users, while OPEX
expenses constitute of subscription fees for end-users as well as super-users.

Finally, for Product C, CAPEX costs include CPU cost and implementation fees,
while OPEX expenses comprise of maintenance cost of CPU and yearly license fees.
