INTRODUCTION
Bank management is procedure of arranging the bank's statutory activity. It is outlined by
particular object of management where financial relations linked with banking activities and
create other relations that are related with the management function in banking sector (Berger,
Roman and Sedunov, 2016). The first Islamic banking was started in 1983 where different types
of bank like merchant bank, commercial bank and financial companies were allowed to offer
Islamic banking products & services under the Islamic banking scheme. To understand bank
management selected two banks Public Bank Berhad and May Bank. Both banks are following
Islamic banking and established in Malaysia. In this report discussed about the balance sheet of
Islamic bank, financial statements, discuss about the elements of assets liquidity and liquidity
profitability in assets management.

Public Bank Berhad: This bank has been based in Kulal Lumpur, Malaysia offering
effective financial services and also in Asia Pacific region. It is one of the famous and biggest
bank in South-east Asia with over RM 363.76 billion of assets and RM 71.90 billion in market
capitalization in the year 2015. Currently, this bank provide different financial services like
personal banking, commercial banking, share broking, Islamic banking and management unit
trust funds. The bank have strong financial performance and discreet management which is
consistently. It has a network of 259 branches and over 2000 staff members in Malaysia (Brown,
2016).
Background: The Public bank has been working about 50 years in banking industry due
to measure of corporate longevity which is an accomplishment to be proud of. It has strong
financial performance which is consistently conformity with strong credit and get get effective
ratings from local and foreign rating agencies. In broad manner it is providing financial services
to 9 million and more than customers in countries where it operates.
