Vision documentation
Problem:
The process of building the new supercentre requires the development of the new information
system that will incorporate the database for the supercentre. The supercentre at the Gold
Coast requires new information system as the process and the services that are provided at the
supercentre are totally different from the other fitness centres of the organization. the vision
documentation will document the challenges that will be faced while the implementation of
the new information system. The discussion between Nina and Mark has raised some
arrangements that are needed to be done and met for the development of the new system in
the supercentre (Papke-Shields, Karen, Boyer-Wright and Kathleen 2017). The areas for
special attention are:
Accessing internet services
Online access for online members
Customized size of the supercentre according to the customers
Web platform for the online accessibility of the customers.

Capabilities of the system:
The supercentre is built with a vision that the supercentre can hold the capacity of a large
number of customers to generate larger revenues. As per the discussion of the Nina and
Mark, the supercentre is an important project for the organization and the CEO Adam Apples
which makes it very important to have a separate information system. The new capabilities of
the information system are unsure as per the Nina. The location of the supercentre is at the
Gold Coast and this place has a high potential for attracting the tourists. The analyzation of
the 13 centres will be used for the gathering of information about the behaviour of the
customer so that the capabilities of the new supercentre can be evaluated (Silvius and Gilbert
2017). The capabilities of the new system are:
Real-time information about the calories lost by the user.
Computer café with the availability of children entertainment.
Snack bar for the fitness centre
Fitness programs for the children.
Training programs for attracting new customers.
Devices equipped with new services for the customers.
The devices capable of monitoring heart rate and pulse rate of the customer.
Wearable fitness device for the customers.
Business benefits:
As per the analysis of the current scenario of the marketplace, the supercentre that is planned
for the Gold Coast is supposed highly beneficial for the organization and attracting large
customers to the fitness centre. The target customer for the organization is the families and
the tourists that come to Gold Coast on occasions. The supercentre will hold special features
and services to attract new customers and tourists. There are specific membership plans for
the customers where the full membership members will have greater advantages such as 24/7
access to the web services. There are various new programs and training facilities that are
proposed for the supercentre. The supercentre will have wearable devices that will transmit
the heart rate and the pulse rate of the individual members to the database system. The
supercentre will have 24/7 web access to the customers, and it is equipped with the internet
café that will enable the communication between the customers to enhance and improve the
