Health and safety are important parameters of human life as they are responsible for
smooth functioning of an individual. This assignment will cover different aspects of Fleet wood
Hall care home. One of the most important factor of health care come is the implementation of
Health and Safety at Work Act (Goetsch, 2010). This act was established in 1974. Under this act,
different duties and responsibilities are assigned to employers, employees, contractors, suppliers
of goods and substances for use at work. This act was enacted in order to secure health, welfare
and safety and protect employees and other workers working in an organisation. It helps in
identifying potential risks within workplace and working on ways in which the risk can be
minimised or eradicated.
